Darn, I was hoping they wouldn't make it for PS3. I kinda wanted to play it.

Of course they're gonna do a PS3 version why wouldn't they? And can always wait another couple of years for the PC version to come out if it does come out, or get the 360 version. :?

Not interested in this new installment...to be frank I never was interested in the series as a whole DX

It's the same game every time...ya shoot, run from the police, hijack stuff, and do missions. Here and there you get a graphic upgrade and new character skills :p

Can say that for any game, like all RPGs all you do is go through dungeons/fields/whatever fight some stuff fight some bosses save the world or whatever the plot has you saving usually have a teenage protagonist etc.

So not really a valid point for not liking a series, cause then might as well not like any game and stop playing video games because they're all repetitive and the same thing just with some minor difference like characters and etc.

Not exactly. RPG's are differen't each Xenosaga was differen't in some way. Each Final Fantasy was different in some way. GTA on the other hand had been the same ever since GTA 1 (yes I have played all of them so far) They just increase the graphics every now and then while gameplay remains the same.

But all GTA's have a different story to them with different missions and weapons, as well as takes place in different time periods, also different lead characters the game play gets tweaked with each one as well, the game play in this one is more then likely going to be a lot different.

That's no different then any other game series. And you would know that until GTA III the GTA games were top down view, since you said you played them since the first one and I say theres a big difference from GTA 1 and 2 to GTA III.

Graphics and the abilitys of the character other than that your switching character/city each installment. Yes I already knew about the over the top view in GTA 1 and 2 it was my main dislike of 1 and 2. You proably do get differn't weapons but I wouldn't know because I never got through half of the game on any of them.

Man, I can't wait for this game....it's going to be great! I think the PS3 version is going to be better than the XB360.

The new trailer is up, looking pretty sweet I hope to be able to hang off the helicopter skids whenever and not just for a mission.

We'll see how it performs. San Andreas was arguably the best selling game on PS2, selling well over 12 million copies, the sales number speaks for itself as far as the series popularity. If the GTA saga truly was the "same" time and time again with each installment, numbers as high as that would never be produced. Just by the name alone, GTA IV undoubtedly will produce equal, if not higher sales. The game looks promising, very. Even if it somehow produces inadequate results over it's counterparts, which is highly unlikely, consumers and GTA fans will make the purchase anyway, for the name and respect alone. Some may not enjoy it, and that's natural, though like many others, "naturally", I look forward to it.
