Megaman ZX 2 -- Not out I think ((Scan Rating - 9.3/10))

Thanks to the wonders of importing, I have ZX Advent (or ZX 2 as you call it).
I'd say it's a bit better at ZX and ZX is one of the best games in the series.

What I really got into Megaman with was Megaman X5 and after that Megaman X6.
Along with X6, I got Megaman Legends 2.
Not the beginning of either series, but I'd totally suggest you check out X5. Getting into it worked fine for me despite not knowing the story of earlier games well and that is, shortly followed by X6, the best game in the Megaman X series in my opinion.

IF you want a challenge the NES ones are hard but not unforgiving, most of the stages are trial and error especially the dissappearing block stages. Megaman X series are extremely easy compared to the NES ones. AS well as the ones afterwards. EXE series is fun but long and probably not worth the purchase but a rent out, you can clock the game, hop onto FAQ get the extra content and be satisfied never to pick up the game again.
