New .hack anime announced

Post by d5t »

At the San Diego Comic-Con this past week, the Bandai pannel mentioned that there was currently a new .hack anime project in the works. At the time they couldn't release any more information. Be sure to check the site for updates soon.

Sorry

Anyway, I hope it's more like .hack//Sign, LOTT sucked compared to SIGN![/quote]

[EDIT: Muahahaha! First posting on the new thread! I am leet.]

Anyway, I perfer long dragged out episodes, using SIGN's drawing technique, then LOTT's crappy voice acting, and childish stunts

PWNED! lol

We'll just have to wait and see how it is when it comes out.

Actually, I enjoyed LOTT and Sign. I also liked Liminality. I hope that this anime is good as well. :)

Liminality was really good ^^ Sign is still my favorite though. LOTB was better in manga form.

wiseman annoys me O.o

this anime would be totaly awesome if it was a mix between Sign and Liminality..like it showed what happens in the real world due to their action in "the World"

Wow, this is a bit exciting. I really liked LOTT, so I'm excited about this one. I can't wait until more info is released.

somehow I think there going to do another based on a manga anime. For all we know it could be an anime adaptation of AI buster or even Zero. My guess is that they might delve into the past of the World, before the events as we know them so far, maybe to the early days. Thats my theory anyway, its not certain yet.

Hmmm, I have a feeling it'll be paired with .hack//G.U., just like SIGN was paired up with the previous PS2 .hack games in terms of chronological continuity.

I can't wait to have more info about this. :)

Actually, it was Liminality that was paired with them, but I think your right. It's most likey to come with GU.

As I stated in the comments, I'm hoping it'll be more of a meaningful, dramatic anime, like //SIGN, instead of the silliness that is .hack//Legend of the Twilight.

But silliness is good every once and a while. I think that .hack almost has a depressing image without LOTT.

But that's just what I think. :?

I think an anime of Ai busters would do really well. Create all new musical scores and upbeat, cheerful vocals from sign. I think they've got a good strategy with .hack//sign. I just hope they don't try to fix something that isn't broken. Of course that goes with anything.

>>Also what is the date for ai busters to be released?

I looked at tokyopop.com and it said "August ninth" but tokyopop lies a lot. They also have a ton of typos in the graphic novels that they publish. :x

I hope that the artists from SIGN do this new anime, and not the ones from LOTTB. I think the main-art-guy for LOTTB is Rei Isume, right? Anyway, I don't like the character style. It isn't as serious as ...um, whoever-did-SIGN's was. Here's hoping that what's-his-face from SIGN returns!

(Whoah, bad grammar from lack of sleep! Who would have thunk?)

Rei Izumi did the art for the manga, right? So I think that someone else did the art for the anime. But yeah, you're right, the art for LOTT is very silly...and cute.
I liked the art from Sign as well. So pretty...

I hope that they show more offline interaction. Or offline scenes. That way you can get a feel of what is going on outside The World.
It would be nice to have sign or liminality art style instead of Dusk.

Its a shame that we don't have anything to work off of though. No screen caps or story

This anime is most likely to be on Cartoon Network. If it is Cartoon Network that gets this new anime, then it should be on Toonami.
