For an extra $10 you get a crappy IPOD case with the "hack//roots" logo and the BandaiNamco logo printed on it.

I'm actually happy about this because it means I can save money and get the plain dvd.

Why don't they include the second soundtrack of Roots instead? I remember they included soundtracks with their previous special editions for SIGN. That would be a more worthwhile purchase than a MP3 case I'll never use...

Heheh, I'm probably gonna get the SE of the third DVD, even if the case is kinda cheap. If you buy it at the right sites, the price isn't too bad.

Check ebay or amamzon. They're usually pretty cheap for this kinda stuff.

I quite agree. I came late to .hack// so while I got the whole set of SIGN, I didn't get any of the soundtracks. Being the European region, I don't think they came with any anyway.

I can imagine the Ovan figurine now: open the box for one of three random posters, . If not that, the box doubles up as a salt or pepper shaker.
