Website for US Theatre Anime Release Dates?

Post by Jamull »

Anyone know of a website that will tell you upcoming releases of anime in a theatre near you?

I saw Howl's Moving Castle in theatre, but only by luck that I saw an article saying it was coming to the US that summer. Sadly that theatre went out of business. I'm wanting to see Tales from Earthsea (another Miyazaki), but was wondering when it was going to be in theatres in the US ^^. I need a website that not only tells you the US release date for theatres, but can also help me find a theatre near me that will play it! :)

Really you just have to check movie theaters websites and such. A lot of movie theaters dont show anime movies though. It was impossible to find the FMA movie.

Well, the Naruto movie was only one day and they had a list of where it was playing. Tales of Earthsea supposedly may not even come to the US.

Anyway, who watches anime movies in a theatre? I just get the DVD or bootleg.

I wouldn't mind watching .hack//G.U.F.T in theaters. Or the Bleach: Memories of Nobody.

I vote for anime theaters all across America, payed for by the government. No just showing movies, but 3-4 episodes of certain show.

well, like I said, I saw Howl's Moving Castle in the theatre, and really, if you like anime, you gotta go see some in theatres! It's like saying "why watch 'the 300' in theatres, you can just watch at home." Of course you can watch it at home, but seeing it in the theatres makes it so much better!!

anyone at all know a helpful site? ><
