So. my friend tells me about this at school today, shows me some stuff in the library, I decide to pre-order. [Closed Beta ftw.]

THEN I come to dothackers and see an Ad for this awesome looking game? Win.

SO signed up. I've been wanting an Age of Exploration-style MMO for, like, ever.

Oh, and the art is colorful, and the characters are very sexy. This game definitely receives my Eye-Candy Award.

I've been playing the pre-release beta for a few weeks now and it's a really fun game to play, even though it's a bit like Guild Wars. Chances are I'll be playing it instead of some other MMO that I've been playing. I might upgrade my computer to make it look nice though

They will email you if you've been accepted. They'll give you a code, which you use to enter the beta testing.

I would imagine it works the same way, except that they put you down for a pre-order of the full version when it is released.
