Questions about the Forest of Pain

Post by Rika »

In consideration of those who didn't watch it yet:

In //Roots, death is displayed by a character's color changing to black and white. So in the Forest of Pain, this happened to Haseo but he didn't die. Why? Saburo was nowhere in sight so he/she/it  couldn't of done anything.

In G.U. you get the "Teleport" option at the Platform by increasing Canard's Guild Rank. During the Forest of Pain, the Twilight Brigade was already disbanded. So how did Haseo teleport to a different Platform?

So that he could shut up: Spell-checked by ryot

Who said he was dead? He could've been down to like 1 HP.

Saburo is acting as Pi's agent to spy on Haseo and gather data about him.

After she's (I'm going by the Tsukasa rule - female online, male offline) fired, she just takes a genuine interest in Haseo and Tabby and tries to kick them in line.

See, he can't log in since you can only try the Forest of Pain once.

I thought the black and white effect was just add more emotion to the situation.

I thought Saburo healed him at that part. In the games if you use a heal item or a spell is used at the right time you turn grey but come right back. I thought that's all that happened.

Yes, but that's an entirely new event. It's not the same "Forest of Pain" trial, the slate's wiped clean.
