No problem... afther all, this is what a forum is all about.
It's just that I had taken on a rather disappeased disposition in real life, and was dismayed by the fact that it may have crossed the boundrey of the internet.
I just wanted to make sure I didn't act hostily while debating(I cant stand people who do so,so I'd be a hypocrite if I did it myself)

Re: 50 and 133
Why were they created so hastily? what kept Aura from taking the time to make the Azure knights complete and intelligent?
they are unable to handle AIDA on their own so wouldn't it make more sense to take the time to make them as good as they need to be to do their job? though i've heard many many times that they were created quickly, and therefore poorly, to destroy threats to the system blah blah blah... its most likely true, but in general before G.U. Aura made some pretty crappy decisions.

They can handle AIDA ont their own, just not <Tri Edge>.
And Aura made them quickly because AIDA started acting before they were done, and would have evolved much faster without the intervention they posed.

Nope. The Azure Knights recover indefinitely (the one reason they're still capable of fighting Ovan. >_>).khun wrote: after ovan killed tri edge in vol.2 did he really died?

Umm... they can all DD without Protect Break. Remember the Macha Battle, that thing is DD crazy and you arent protect broken yet.Azure crow wrote: His drain is different, which is obvious.
It only has the rewrite ability, because Aura didn't want him causing comas, which would be counter-productive,and on top of that his drain dosn't need a protect break.
It's unique.
Pi didn't analize it,she just looked at it.
If would be difficult to prepare an analasis, run it,compare it,then get results in the ten second she had between seeing it and saying it.
She just made an assumption(and in my eyes, she proved it by pushing up her glasses, which is a typical "In my proffesional opinion" thing to do) and said what she saw based on size, summoning action, and the fact that avatar space was there for it.

That falls under the "improper use" catagory, and only serves to attack the protect status.
After that's gone,a properly used data drain would cause a coma 100%.
Unless the person is protect broken a data drain is just an attack.
After protect break a data drain is a finisher.

I have always found it weird that you can never choose to Data Drain a protected enemy, but enemies are always annoying you with it.

Re: 50 and 133
I dunno... I always thought of a gameplay mechanic as something that couldn't be helped, to advance the story, like the Azure Kite battle levels, or enhance the gameplay, but I could only see giving you a non-lethal Data Drain as doing just that. Oh well. We can't, they can, and that's the way it works I guess.Azure crow wrote:Plot device/game mechanicPersongus wrote:I have always found it weird that you can never choose to Data Drain a protected enemy, but enemies are always annoying you with it.
