I Found Devote Guts!

I have compared with many others. This item is extremely hard to come by. It is only found in the Salt Mania Guild shop in Dol Dona and it rarely appears there. I've found just about everything else in the game so I set out to finally get this pain in the arse item. I found that warping from Dol Dona to Mac Anu and back makes the guild shops appear in a very specific order. The oder is as follows:

Moon Tree
Emperio
Triffle
Guards
Bad @$$
Knights
Kestrel
Zoo
Medic Union
Salt Mania

once you reach Salt Mania, it starts back over at Moon Tree. Logging out to the game's desktop then back into Dol Dona bounces around the shops from Emperio to Guards, to Knights, and back to Emperio. So this can be used to skip through the list above. I didn't bother checking for the pattern when you warp out to areas or dungeons.

The problem I kept running into, as did everyone I talked to, no matter how many times I found the Salt Mania Clerk he never had the Devote Guts in his shop. I would litterly sit there for hours (while I was also on the computer) going back and forth between Mac Anu and Dol Dona. I cycled through the listed well into the double digits. So I'm post-game and I'm sitting there with well over a million gp and I decided to try another experiment. I kept going through the list and every time Salt Mania would show up I would buy out their shop. After 3 rounds of this the elusive Devote Guts finally appeared. It did take a lot of money and I'm not going to waste time and effort testing it again but there you have it. This is something that worked for me. If you're having trouble getting the Devote Guts and you have quite a bit of gp just laying around, give it a try.

Its a worthless L51 *5 rare accessory that you only need to worry about if you're going after the Ryu books and you want to find everything.

Del Dona shop area.
It's one of the ones that pop up.

If you just go from battle fields to Dol Dona and from the desktop to Dol Dona you could go a very very long time without seeing guilds such as the Zoo Guild or the Salt Mania Guild. But if you warp back and forth between Mac Anu and Dol Dona, you will make every single Dol Dona shop appear in the order that I posted in my first post in this thread.
