First Final Fantasy You Played?
FFX was my first and still is my favorite and honstly I'm one of the 25 people in the world who likes X-2 and didn't like 7
I played VII.. got mad when Sephiroth killed Aeris and quit. It just bothered me. I loved FFX. FFX-2 was okay. It was more so fun then thick plot and challenging. XII was pretty good, I enjoyed it a lot. I never got all the way through VIII and my friend still has my copy of IX I never got to play. I also never got to play any of the ones on super nintendo or gameboy/hand held systems unfortunately.
Either way VII was my first but I favor X and XII

X-2 was ok a little strange at first but I got into it. I really liked the Job system in that game, Samurai was my favorite since you could cut enemies in half. I hated the requirements for a 100% file I made sure to get 100% on my first playthorugh incase I never played againS1lentOp wrote:I own a copy of FFXII, but I've played FFVII (and fell asleep). I'd like to play FFX, but I need to get the money together to buy a copy first. I'm still on the fence about getting X-2 with it though.

All in all it was a good game not as fun as FFX but still fun.

Heres the order I've played the games in
1. 10 (My first and it got me into FF)
2. 7 (I finished it but didn't really like it. The graphics really turned me off even for a PSOne those graphics sucked)
3. 10-2 (Nowhere near as great as 10 but the story was still nice and the it has one of my favorite battle systems)
4. 9 (My second favorite but I never got to finish it because I broke the final disc by steping on it before I got a chance to finish it)
5. Dawn of Souls 1-2 (I love the first FF but I hate 2 with a passon the story, battle system and all)
6. 3 (My third favorite FF and has my second favorite battle system)
7. 4 (Didn't like it and didn't get very far)
8. 12 (I'm working on it now but I'm honestly not liking it)

I agree with you I loved the battle system on that game except when you attack the monsters or bosses you don't even hit them unless you use magic because you stand in one place and attack. But, my favorite music comes on when you win a battle, also I like the song those random dancer girls dance to6. 3 (My third favorite FF and has my second favorite battle system)

Hnn... Well, VIII Was technically my first, but t was only the demo. I'm still desperately searching for a full copy of it, because I LOVED it. I need moar Squall. MOAR! :D
After that was... VII at a friends house for about 1 hour. Didn't think much of it 'till I played the full game, and I'm still pissed off about the quality of the language in it. Half the stuff didn't make bloody sense to me. >_>
Then... haha... Crystal Chronicals. Awesome game, although I didn't realize you need GBA's for the multi-player. Ohwells. I've never actually finished this one, I get the final boss down to minimal HP, and then I die. I've yet to see the ending... ooooh, that gives me an idea. *YouTubes*
Next came... I + II: Dawn of Souls, followed by all the older games. Blah, blah, blah.
Bought X last year. Enjoyed it well enough. The story was great. Tidus and Auron kinda annoyed me a little. Lulu and Rikku kick ASS. Seymour was awesome too. The Aeons were pro'ly my favorite summons design-wise outta the series. :D
Got XII earlier this year. Hnn... It's not that bad. I enjoyed it until I got up to trying to infiltrate Archades, got a bit difficult there. Stupid Ghoul boss in the Sochen Cave Passage is keeping me tied up, so now I'm stuck leveling. My PS2 makes really loud noises whenever I play it too. D:
Most recently bought one was X-2. Was looking for this for a while too. I'm stuck on the last chapter. I've got the coice of going to the last battle, trying to kill some boss at the mining camp, or the Via Infinito. Joy.
My sister is an avid Rikku fangirl, so I bought it mostly for her. She's yet to actually play it. >_>
I'm lookin' forward to XII and Dissida. Although that means I need to save up for a PSP and a PS3. Something I wouldn't normally consider. >_>
Damn Sony and your overpriced consoles.
Oh, I'm also obsessed with Kingdom Hearts, which is kinda Final Fantasy. That whole series fits in between X and XII. <3
Aww... The ending to CC is great. *tears up*
