Game FAQs has the FAQ that pretty much solves all item issues for Rebirth.

I personally use Rough Alloy with Turtle Shell (10% decrease in physical damage) and Body Egg (10% HP increase).
The black Armor from the Abyss quest is good but it also slowly saps your SP (along with being 5 star it cannot be customized). The Steam Armor is also good but because it is a 5 star item it cannot be customized.

I like the Null Alloy. Something about reducing physical damage to 0 if its below 25.

The best armor is Null Allow for Haseo. Its effects are Physical -25 (which makes any physical attack that does 25 damage or less do nothing) and magical -25 (which makes any magical attack that does 25 damage or under do nothing). If you go into the arena with this then you will practically never take damage.

I believe that you can find it at the black market at the luna cloth (not sure if spelled right) but it cost a lot

Well, you can find both the accessories for Null Alloy and Divine Alloy.
