ps3 vs xbox360

I agree with Maromi 360 has certianly gained my respect with Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive 4 and Gears of War. PS3 is really sucking right now and they lost their trump card which was DMC 4 so the best we can expect from them is Ninja Gaiden which is currently being made for the PS3 and some what Last Remnant but that's being made for the 360 as well so PS3 is pretty much screwed right now :p

The Wii is my opinion is right behind the 360 with Metroid Prime 3 coming out of the 20th of August and Super Smash bros Brawl sated for this year the Wii has some good times ahead of him

allow me to speak freely about this if you look at the titles sure they have good games but how did they get them hmmm they had to pay a **** load of money you know why they did not have previus contracts like sony did. THe whole thing with kingdom hearts you think xbox will try to buy it out no do you know why because it would be breaking the contract with that specific game title. And please do not bring up gears of war sure it was good when it first came out but now people talk about it like its their life I guess your right on the opinion but at least admit that after a little while the ps3 will have the market in their grasp. The reason being is do you notice how long it takes to make the final fantasy titles 3 years for the 13 to come out hmmmm. I 'd say instead of shitting out a console last minute and then releasing the xbox elite they should have worked on it more and provided the HDmi port and done something with the harddrive instead of making the consumer spend twice as much on things that go for it and yes im going to go back to saying a $100 dollars is not worth that plastic piece of crap camera. I don't really care about the games that come out for 360 you know because if they pay to have it on their system it shows you how desperate they are for titles. don't get me wrong I had one but i saw the difference between the two the reason I like sony over microsoft is because of the fact sony for me has better titles and who cares if its a high price system ok look at the elite how much is it? I guesss ill just end it but still you have to admt if you give the wii and plastion 3 time they will come over the top of xbox just like xbox did to sony and gamecube the last gen systems.

PS3 unofficially dies once XBOX 360 starts snagging a lotta BL games and H games, along with more of the anime games.

...But that won't stop me from not liking XBOX 360.

Their mediocre cause I think they are, I've played quite a few and there was nothing great about them like people go on about. If the game I've played and thought that they were mediocre then they are to me, I don't care if I'm the only person that thinks so either.

Every one has different tastes, the only Xbox games I've enjoyed outside of the multi-platform ones which I prefer the PS2 version over. Were Shenmue II and Ninja Gaiden, that's it all the other games I've played I didn't like or have fun playing there for they are mediocre at best to me.

Obviously I'm not speaking about the games I haven't played, but if they don't spark my interest then I won't play them and ignore looking up info on them. I don't judge them that was just an assumption on your part that I was talking about every single game.

And all of the RPGS that the 360 has not a single one has caught my interest in the least bit, and of course the PS3 doesn't have any games yet they start coming out this summer the 360 has been out longer so big fat duh that it has a bigger library of games just none that interest me and all of the ones I've played I thought they were mediocre.

So the 360 has nothing for me, just like the Wii, Zelda is on the GC if I really wanted it I would buy it for that, but since I lost interest in Zelda while waiting for the game to come out I never bothered to get it also don't feel like wiping the 3+ years of dust off my GC just to play one last game on it.

Uh, no, it wasn't. You said, "I can't stand the 360 because it's a mediocre console with mediocre games." That's a judgment. You didn't say, "It's a mediocre console, and I've found the few games I've played to be mediocre." That's not assuming; I'm just going by your comments. You made a broad statement, not me.

Still, though, if you think the PS3 is going to be the RPG system of this generation, I don't really think that'll be the case. It seems as though the PS3 and 360 are switching roles this generation, with the 360 having lesser power, but more quality titles, and the PS3 having more power, but fewer titles, which probably will mean fewer RPG's. It appears to be going like the PS2 and Xbox, except it's switched, this time around.

This isj ust my theory, but i think the Xbox was released in a rush. I kno that alot of consoles have really bad launches, so they released it 1 year early, so that by the time the PS3 and Wii are out, the 360 will have good games and wont have as many problems as it did at launch. The PS3 got alot of negative comments or whatever, because lots of consoles do at launch. SO, while the PS3 is having a hard time at launch, the 360 will be selling like crazy because launch problems will be fixed. I think that the 360 was supost to be more like hte Xbox Elite, but it was rushed so they could sell it before PS3 and Wii, and now, all 3 360's, have breaking down problems, and are really unreliable.

Sorry, forgive me if I took this the wrong way, but you're saying the ps3 is so shitty it takes 20 to = One xbox 360? o.0;;

Anyways, as it stands, no matter what a fanboy thinks. (I've always been 'nuetral' until now, currently I just don't like PS3, other two are fine with me.) 360 is the most solid console, with the best games on the console market currently.

And when people say "Oh, the 360 launched a year earliar, in one year PS3 will be back on top!" So.. that's also another year for Xbox360, which means even better games, better graphics, and better features.

I usually don't do system wars, but it's fun sometimes. In the end, I'm the winner. I have an Xbox 360, a Wii, and a decent PC. As a gamer, I win.

What do u meen by solid? I might be taking it the wrong way, but, it cant be that solid, Xbox 360 is probaly the least reliable console ever. A year after the 2 first 360's, the elite came, youd think that they would fix the red light problem when they made the ner version.

He most likely said "solid" as to say that it's the best console, not necessarily the one with the least problems, but it has the most solid lineup of games and features.
(And no, you don't have to get hung up on "features" and spam features the PS3 have that you like. That'd be missing the point.)

You do realize the Elite didn't come to fix all the problems of the 360, but to give people who don't own one a better reason to get it, right?
The Red Ring problems are exaggerated anyway. I got it once. Know what had happened? I didn't have any video-cable plugged in to the 360 =P

As for how much power a console drains, that's just a desperate attempt to find some argument. How much will people care about the difference in power drain? Most likely not a bit :P

But, Microsoft should have fixed those red lights. It doesent happen to everyone, but it happens alot, even Microsoft admited it.

Way to be a Steve Specific, true I didn't specifically say it but it's what I meant now I know I have to type out every little detail even though it should of been interpreted that I was only talking about the games I've played and not every single game.

And I still highly doubt the RPGs I like are gonna be on the 360 other then multi - platform ones if any.

Yea that's the ones that I don't think will go to the 360 actually, I don't see any of the NIS SRPGs going to the 360 outside of maybe a multi - platform Disgaea sequel.

And also don't think the next games in the Tales Of series outside of Spin offs maybe, going to the 360, Star Ocean 4 might be multi - platform, and when it comes to multi - platform games I'd get the PS3 version because I like the controller better.

*Shurgs* Guess it'll have to be a wait and see, I'm still enjoying my PS2 and will continue to enjoy it probably well into 08 since theres still a lot of games coming out for it.

The earliest I'd plan on getting a PS3 would be when GTA IV comes out, if not then will probably hold out for awhile to see where the RPG series and sequels that I like go.

Because I'm not going to buy a system just for one or a handful of games any more, Nintendo got me to do it twice with the 64 and GC, so shame on me but there surely won't be a third time I get duped.
