A new Star Ocean title to be announced. Sweeeet!

- Famitsu reported that Square Enix will reveal the next Star Ocean title at the Square Enix Party 2007 on May 12 - 13, 2007

Well if it's any thing like TTEOT then it'll be about 3 years or so before it hit's the states. I still have a few Battle Trophies to collect, I only had 213 or so when I stopped playing.

I do have max level with the 3 main people I use most of the ultimate weapons/armor done and every optional boss but one beat, and just the craft person or whatever you want to call them that requires the grand prize from the bunny races to obtain so sort of done.

I loved the latest Star Ocean and am definitely waiting for the next installment. Kinda lost interest in it after Sphere 300 I think it was? But that's because I had many a game to play still.

If it's anything as big as Star Ocean 3 then it will be a fantastic game. Can't wait to see what system it's on though. But I think it's obvious where it's going.

Well, here's hoping it'll be more pure sci-fi, less medieval/sci-fi hybrid, and the "plot twist" won't make me want to snap the disk in half.

I thought that plot twist pretty killed any chance of a sequel, and in fact killed the previous games too.

I liked the twist, though not original because nothing is truly original any more hasn't been for a long time now.

Any how, all the Star Ocean games were sci-fi/medieval well not sure about Blue Sphere as I've never played it partly because it only came out in Japan, but the others had a planet on them that was like the medieval times.

And I refuse to buy a 360 just for Star Ocean. PS2 or PS3 else I'll just skip it, not buying a system for just one game.

Well, they are developed Infinite Undiscovery for the 360, but I'm guessing the next Star Ocean will go PS3.

Heres the update on the Star Ocean news.

The company also had big news in store for all fans of its Star Ocean series. While Star Ocean 4 has been confirmed to be in development at tri-Ace, no information regarding the game's target platform were revealed today. In further Star Ocean-related news, remakes of the series' first two installments are set to appear on PlayStation Portable. Star Ocean 1 First Departure and Star Ocean 2 Second Evolution will feature new character designs and CG sequences created by famous anime studio Production I.G.

The last one for ps2 TTEOT got boring quickly......it is the first game that I beat and could not stay awake to watch the ending, no matter how many times I tried and with the different endings I still feel asleep. I liked the game, it was long and challenging, but boring endings. I still just couldn't learn to like what the characters really were. I hope the next one will be good.

Also, don't forget about the new FFD for the psp. I wonder if it will be good?

Square Enix is overrated ... just about all conventions are.. they always are in freakin California .. ITS NOT FAIR!
