just to clear up the waterfall-radiation thingy...Mystere Man wrote:Which is what we thoughtRengeki wrote:Well, now that vol. 2 is out, the mystery is solved.
Radiation is the keyword for the Arche Koeln lost ground, and Dead Wood is the keyword for a direct warp to Indiegnt Lugh (sp?) lost ground.

Yup,sure is.
I got vol 2,and Radiation(unfourtunatly) is the keyword.
I'm not getting how Radiation is better than Watterfall, seeing as how the place IS A WATERFALL,but that's the way it goes.
Mabye they needed that word for something else....although I'm sure the keywords "Hidden Fobidden Waterfall" are never going to ranodmly show up for a side quest.....damn translation idiots.....I usually don't curse at others like that, but the idiots got something wrong after getting it right once before, which is ludicris.

It wasn't something they had to change in Vol 1,so it raises some questions....that's the last of this,I'm really annoyed by it.
If anyone's willing to help me asertain the information on the change, wether it be through reaserch or an interview, even if only the slightest bit, then I'd like you to tell me.
I'm going to find out what reason they had.

I completely agree. Radiation, for some reason, is found in the code, while the official story calls it Waterfall.Azure crow wrote:It wasn't something they had to change in Vol 1,so it raises some questions....that's the last of this,I'm really annoyed by it.

Gonna start a petition or something?
Perhaps the answer will be given in vol. 3...but probably not.

I don't know why,but it really annoys me.
They should at least say why.
Surly the designers noticed it.
And no,no one really listens to online petitions.
Duo account problems took care of that.
I need something else....mabye next time the site has an interveiw with the company, then I'll forward the question,as it is something that would benifit alot of members to know.

And if you did put the question forward, Im sure it'll be answered, as this doesnt seem like a big cover up scheme. But, if for some odd reason it is, we can expect an answer of "I have no idea."
From now on, Im just gonna call this "The mystery of the Waterfall of Radiation." :/
Maybe doing some digging will reveal some small connection.

I doubt theyd fix it in vol 3.Azure crow wrote:I'm just ticked off by errors like this.
If they get it right once, they shouldn't get it wrong the second time.
But they might fix it next volume.
But still,I'm going to ask next interview chance.
Theyd have to go over the places where they wrote "Radiation", as in emails or forums, etc.
And I think they wouldnt want to confuse vol. 2 players who arent that dedicated to the game by changing Radiation to Waterfall.

Sorry for the random bump, but I have a question.
I'm 100%(for the most part) my Volume 1 save since I recently bought Volume 2; and want to complete V1 before I move on. Can you, in any of the games, do the tasks necessary for new area words? Like say, I am in Volume 2, but I wish to unlock a Area keyword that was present in Volume 1 I never got to doing. Just curious; since I'd like to be done with Volume 1 faster so I can move on to volume 2.

If it is a level word there should be no problem getting it in vol 2 like (B-S Rank any level ?? area). But if it is a quest word then you need to get them in vol 1 like the Lord of the Dead words.Shinigami Grahf wrote:Sorry for the random bump, but I have a question.

There are some items that can only be gotten in vol 1 also so be sure to get them in vol 1 before you move on. They are
Ripper Blades- Bounty Hunter side Quest for beating all Black List Pk's.
Wild Robe- I think it's for kicking 1 of each type of lucky animal?
Steam armor/acc- you get almost all of these by saving Mecha Grunty 50 times, and one is from the chim chim scientist.
Black Armor- Lord of the Dead quest reward
Own King key item- Defeat Doppleganger
Wall papers for vol 1- You can't get vol 1 wall papers for the serpent of lore fights in vol 2 so be sure to get them now if you want them.
That should be all the vol 1 only items? I could have missed something.
Oh be sure you have a Holy Potion recorded in your Book of 1000 before vol 2, because they are harder to find in vol 2. You can find them but it took me several hours to get them to show up.
For vol one you can get them by Trading with Blue Eye Samurai and someone else whos name escapes me? or buy them at the medic union shop in Mac Anu.
If you find Blue Eye Samurai and they don't have the Holy potion don't log out. Just enter into a shop or guild and come back out and find them again. This resets the NPC's trade items in town so they could have the item this time. You can do this as much as you want and get as many of a trade item as you want.
One last thing if you want Beginners Books/Texts get them in vol 1 because they are very limited in vol 2, were as in vol 1 you can trade for as many as you want.
I used the trick I mentioned and got over 50 Beginners books and texts from one visit to Mac Anu.
