Going back to Vol 1 after Vol2

Hi,
I was just wondering, is it possible to go back and do any volume 1 stuff after you transfer your data to volume 2? For instance can I still defeat doppelganger for the first time (and get own king i think?) if i transfer and start playing volume 2? Or have I missed that opportunity? Thanks for any answers.

You must get own king in vol. 1 before converting vol. 1 data to the 2nd game.

Else if you convert vol. 1 data to vol. 2 without own king then save Vol. 2 data if you ever get own king in Vol. 1 later you'd have to reconvert the Vol. 1 data to the 2nd game forcing Vol. 2 to start all over again.

Better replay the game. I spended 26 hours finish the story line.

If u have searched about own king in this forum, u should have gotten most of the info already- that u dun get the dopple twin blade without the own king. So if u are not very concerned about the dopple weapons, then its fine, if not, i think i will agree with the others, play vol.1 and get own king.
