Cubia never wanted to delete Aura, and Morti was probably an insane Vagrant AI, not some wierd 9th Phase dealio.

I've never heard that.
I'm fairly certain she was just a wandering A.I. interested in death,as they would have said something if she was what was left of Morganna.
Aura,Balmung,or one of the other dot hackers would have said something at least.

here is waht really happened to Mia. I got this from the Terminal Disk. Mia was actually a Vargrant AI that Macha attached to. When Kite faught Macha she was still attached to Mia at the time and when he destroyed Macha, Mia was destroyed as well. How Mia came back is a question im still trying to figure out but once she came back Macha somehow re-attached itself to her and Jun Bansyoya along with Jyotaro Amagi destroyed Mia and extracted Macha from her. The cat on Endrance's shoulder was an AIDA that turned itself into a cat. It seemes like AIDA knows more about people than everyone thinks. AIDA must've turned itself into a cat to make Endrance think that the cat was Mia. Though Endrance knew that it wasnt Mia, he treated it lik her anyway. At the same time infecting Endrance turning him to a AIDA-PC.

Your right. It was a Vargant AI made by Morganna's data fragments that was also interested in learning what death really was.

Even on the Wikia, it was listed as a theory.

Morti (モルティ) is a Vagrant AI within The World. She has near God-like powers over the areas around her current location, but unlike Aura or Morganna she is not tied into the system as a whole. It is likely that she was created from leftover fragments of Morganna's data.

Okay,okay maybe Morit was made from fragments of Morganna maybe not.
