Get Stronger [Spoilers]

I think all of us by now should know that Ovan needs Haseo to be stronger so that Haseo can defeat Ovan. If that is so, why doesn't Ovan tell Haseo where the Lost Scythe is? The one who told Haseo about the area of the Lost Weapons and Adora Keys is Phyllo.

I guess because Haseo wouldn't comply with him and he was too ashamed to take the time. He seemed pretty pissed when Ovan told him about the little "incident".

Naturally. He was led on a wild goose chase like a dog chasing after a ball on a string. It was humiliating, degrading, and worst of all, it was possibly wasting the valuable he had to save Shino.

No wonder Ovan backed off. :B

I got a feeling (just a feeling) that irregardless of spoilers BBCode, people still highlight the blacked-out words to read. I want to point out that the spoilers in this reply is major, and only those who haven't played vol 3 may not want to see them. Yet.

o.O but Ovan could have given Haseo the Lost Scythe or told him the area key word before telling him about the truth about what happen about Shino.

And, in Vol 3:

Ovan was the one who taught Haseo about Avatar Awakening (through an email).

A bit weird isn't it? And I don't think Haseo is likely to insult Ovan with swear words. Ovan is considered his benefactor, and Haseo highly regarded him. Kuhn used Propagation to lecture Haseo on effects of giving in to anger, didn't he?

No wonder Ovan backed off. :B

Ovan backed off a little.

Even if he needed Haseo to get stronger, each time they met there was a chance Ovan would put his only chance into a coma.

Here's a good reason. Ovan and Phyllo were friends. He probably knew of his death as well. Since Phyllo wanted to help Haseo one last time, Ovan didn't interfere allowing the person Phyllo chose to take Haseo to the lost ground, and letting him and Phyllo's spirit teach Haseo about the lost weapons as a final favor to his old friend who wouldn't be around with them when everything had returned to normal.

Yeah this could be it. So Phyllo's spirit is a program written by Phyllo himself to tell Haseo about the Lost Weapons? o.O Phyllo's good.
