To those who have played and beaten reminisce...

Post by Reign Of Death »

Well, i loved g.u. volume one. althought, it seemed rather quite short, the storyline is about 20 hours of gameplay  (not counting doing everything), i was just wondering, how long did it take to beat the second volume?I hope its not real short again :( , well thanks

It's technically the same length but since the plot doesn't really stop in this one (since everyone has been introduced in Vol.1) it seems alot longer.

I got it around 5 pm (the day I got it), and I stopped when I got his Flick Reaper form.
I woke up the next morning and played all day and almost got to the final boss.

So that's about 18-20 hours. Not counting side quests, books of ryu, and all of that good stuff.

It seems A LOT longer in some places. Those introduction acts in Vol 1 are now subsituted by quests that your friends randomly invite you to inbetween arena matches. It's kinda funny.

Theres no need to train too much if you are playing vol 2. If you train too much in early stages of the game, then you will get Flick Reaper later. Besides the quest of Flick Reaper doesn't require much training, it requires  knowledge.

The arena has been coded in such a way that people in storyline you fight will be around the same level as you.

I've been a bit off topic ^^; I need around 30 hrs, to finish Ryu Books and get Bike Parts (not even completed).

I never got all of those bike parts. Those times to beat are outrageous. I have most of the best for each volume, but I am missing a few.

You can get Bike Parts for getting first o.O? I have't tried though, mine steering skills aren't to be proud of. And you mean vol 2 and 3 right? I don't think you can get bike parts for vol 1. At least without a cheating software/device.

You start out with
Spin Needle? (The blades you got from becoming the champion)
Flame Sword

Sorry if I got those names wrong. I haven't played English in awhile.

Yep. Anyway I think the quest min. requirement is Level 151, since the Scythe you receive after becoming a Flick Reaper is Level 151.

... Huh? O_o 150 is the level cap in volume 3. It's impossible for anything to be level 151.

Ah my mistake again >.< i really should check my posts. Its Level 51. If you follow the storyline, and fighting monsters in the areas in which you have a storyline mission, you should hit 51 nicely.
