Jebus, this is a lot of confusion.

Kuhn's voice actor in Roots is Louis Chirillo, and he.. really doesn't fit the role. He's too whiney and nasally.

Johnny Bosch, on the other hand, voices him in the games and I love him to bits.

but Kuhn's voice..It doesn't really fit him. He sounds more a like a punk, than anything, which he's not.

Well, I think in ROOTS he's more of a jerk than in the games.

Definitely! It kinda made me sad how mean he seemed in ROOTS because I was used to him being so nice.

Kuhn doesn't really seem like a jerk to me in Roots.

But really, Kuhn's VA is the worst thing that's happened to Roots so far; and I'm trying to be nice about this too. I was very shocked when I heard it; instantly made me think of Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service (which it never should).
At least all the other English VAs have gone up in value since Kuhn debuted. There are actually quite a few good voice overs; Ovan, Ender, Tawaraya, even B-set. So far Saburo sounds pretty good, and so does Taihaku (FRUIT!).
