.hack//chat on dothackers.net?

i was wondering why dosent dothackers.net make a .hack//chat secton on there site. its part of .hack and the .hack team makes the graphics. i am just wondering

There already is, at the top of the .hack\\GU section, but I cannot get it to connect. Actually, it was probably a limited event, but what do I know? I just tried it yesterday.

If you are asking why Dothackers doesn't have a chat room, there already is a chat room and there has been one ever since I first joined. You can find it on the front page underneath interact. I could just let you search around, but I thought that I would be nice and provide you with the link. http://www.dothackers.net/chat. Just a little heads up, if you do not have java or irc you will not be able to access it, which may have been the reason why Phase 9 couldn't access it.

Now if you are asking about why there isn't some sort of link to the official .hack//chat, well that is something that only d5t could answer.

Judging by the fact

.hack//chat secton on there site. its part of .hack and the .hack team makes the graphics.

Clearly makes sense the person is referring to the java game .hack//CHAT and not a chat room, that is unless chat rooms are generally created by the .hack team.

Anyways, I fail to see the reason by adding a .hack//CHAT section since its not apart of the dot hack series. It's merely a fundemental interactive ploy to get fans more into the .hack series. It would be no different than adding the whole ALTIMIT MINE OS flash to the site considering it as part of the .hack series. Therefore a section on .hack//CHAT in my opinion is pointless.

However that doesn't mean you can't take this up to the webmaster seeing what they believe.

I have the second-to-most up to date version of Java, I just think it was down when I tried (worked the day before I first posted in this thread).

EDIT: I checked, it's working again. It was probably just closed for maintenance.

no no no... .hack//CHAT is a japaneese chat program that mixes the MMOG and a chat room game. even thou its japaneese there are alot of english speaking players that go on

Don't expect to see a virtual chat on the site-- it would suck up too much bandwidth and cause problems.
