*blinks* Ok........anyway.....nothing can beat Rurouni Kenshin. Even though I have not yet seen Shakugan no Shana there is just no way that it could beat Rurouni Kenshin. But then again, this is coming from a huge fan of the RK series, so my opinion may possibly be slightly biased. :-p

THIS IISSSS a debate topic....so biased opinions are welcome here.........just no extreme verbal bashing of either anime....jk.

Anyway, in terms of RK...I'm a big fan of it. But I think that shana might give RK a little competition in the sword vs. sword field. I think that if Shana and Kenshin fought....it might be an even match.

I select Kenshin as a winner. Best swordsman I have seen so far in all the anime I have watched. Rurouni or Battousai he is still dangerous.

Kenshin can beat a Gundam because he's too fast for a gundam to hit(laser beams can't catch up with the man

Kenshin can beat Edward Elric; Edward isn't fast enough for Kenshin.

I forgot what's the weakness of Homunculi, it was the Homunculus transmutation circle right? then kenshin has not much of a chance

let's just say kenshin can beat most humans or machines that cannot match up to his speed and skill

Ok, so your basically saying he is able to CUT down a gundam, otherwise no he can't beat them.

Kinda like how another mech can pound a gundam with it's bare fist's and screw it up so it's kinda the same in this case. Just bludgin it with the Reverse blade sword until the joints are so fuc*** up iti can't move anymore.

I guess it depends on what Gundam your talking about, as you know theres many, and when I say many I mean theirs a immense variety of Gundams, not just the anime ones you've seen. As fast as Kenshin is, is he able to dodge an attack that would have a massive area effect? Their are alot with that kind of power. Gundams as slow yes, but not as slow as you think. Although there are -some- gundams he might be able to defeat, there are alot he most likely couldn't. And his sword probably wouldn't do much to their armor, maybe a standard gundam, but other then that I really don't know. And you also have to account for some of their sizes, and their abilities they have (ex.flying, etc). But all and all, I guess it all depends on the gundams. And even though you think Kenshin's pretty darn fast, but their are people who are faster then him. It's only typical that people would think Kenshin is -the- best. It's a popular show, it's been dubbed, so many have seen it. So most of the time these kind of things are one-sided.

It would be easier just to do human vs human. As you know that some machines can have unfair advantages.

But me being the kind of person who've seen a huge list of animes (mainly japanese animes that don't air here).

Something like Light or Misa vs. Kenshin would definitely be unfair. Reason there is why I sometimes don't like anime crossover battles.
