He probably won't die, but he's in danger of it. His dying would ruin the whole Rebirth thing, and it would open the door of people dying through the World.

And that is something I don't want to explore.
Anyways, here's a question regarding the death topic from back in Sign. Could Tsukasa have sustained so much damage in The World that the real person could have died? Deaths as a result of playing The World under these circumstances would be an interesting topic, however that would be taking it too far. I know that The World is able to destroy the mind as shown by Amagi, but it would be pretty hard to destroy the body.
No, it can't. Only the reverse is true for Tsukasa. It's not that the body is being harmed, but that the mind of someone with Doll Syndrome is unable to communicate with certain body parts, like Atoli and her arm.
not i the sense that they flail wildly, but the can't communicate with the nerves or muscles oin the affected area.
which,in retro spect, would have made playing the game a kick in the rear for one armed(mediforicly) Atoli, with needing 2 hands and all.
Not really intense, your mind basically controls everything. If your mind had a will of it's own and hated you, it could make you feel like you're getting stabbed by lightsabers when you're walking down the street with no one around.

Didn't know that he had that on the inside of him. Maybe that's why the cannon-looking thing is really two blades, which is why he's tri-edge, instead of Kite.
Well....this is going to make volume 2 a whole lot more interesting
