That's simply an assumption based on the fact that they're essentially the same characters. Until we see Tohta in the English version, we won't have an answer.

Incidentally, if I'd known Tawalaya would become Tohta when watching the Japanese version, I wouldn't have thought his Seiyuu was very suitable. He changes his voice for the role, its entirely possible that Mark Acheson will use a different voice as Tohta.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've never heard Mark Acheson using a voice that I would say is suitable for Touta, but he probably won't sound the same as Tawaraya.

I just realized something. Tawaraya's name was changed to Tawalaya... Didn't the same happen with Atoli? She said she's named after the brambling, but that would be Atori, right?

I guess I never before realized how truly interchangeable the letters are...

No, in English her name is still Atoli.

Sorry. That's what I meant, not her English name. I really need to make myself more clear when I ask these things.

Yeah. Now whenever I see a post from silabus, I think it's Umbra until I notice the context of the post.

I have a friend in Australia who claims Roots (I think it was Roots) hasn't come out over there yet. Poor guy... Seems like we get all the good stuff first.

I thought I misheard it at first, but then when I heard them say it like that TWICE, I thought they changed his name. I'm glad I was just hearing it wrong.

Oh yeah, the new episode comes on soon... Gotta stay awake...
I know how you feel, that kind of stuff happens to me all of the time and I freak out *pat pat*

What I'm mad about is Ovan's dialogue. They took his philosophical ramblings and ruined all the plant puns, making him look like he's a rambling engrish lunatic. Seriously, last night's episodie, he was all like

"If the Key of the Twilight exists, it does not exist, for there can be many or one, and only one, for this game abides by it's own rules, untouched by the system."

....

WHAT?! Holy ****, I'm the .hack Mawd Gawd and even I couldn't understand what the f*ck he was going on about.
I seriously considered quoting that if only for how incredibly fruity it sounds.
