The show has it all: an extremely compelling story, very well developed characters, light comedy, tragedy, wonderful soundtrack...the list just goes on and all. Also, unlike the follow up movies to many anime series, the follow up to the series (Conqueror of Shambala) retained the magnificent craftsmenship of the series. In my opinion, this series deserves a 10/10.

Not even close. It's made its way up to the Top 10 Most Overrated Anime Ever list though. It was good, but not that good.

The anime was amazing and all, but best anime of all time? Don't make me laugh. If you think FMA is the best, then you obviously have not seen enough animes.
