That just means that he beat her and ripped her helmet off. Maybe he ment to go back for her after he took care of Link and Zelda?

Yah Link and Zelda left the collasping castle while Minda stayed back and fought Ganon in her true form, but when the smoke and dust cleared he was sitting on his horse and he Minda's crushed helmet.
