Haseo's mostly home alone, his dad has a high position in a gaming company. So he can scream all he wants and only his neighbours would know there's a retarded kid next door. Besides, .hack was meant to blend virtual with reality in such a way you can't easily tell them apart.Dawn of the Warrior wrote:Didnt his parents give a crap when he said "YOU BASTARD!" to tri-edge? I mean ur sitting in front of a computer and yelling at it. Kinda freaky dont ya think?
Anyways back on topic, Wise Grunty, can't get enough of that "nero".

I remember reading a topic in .Hack (forgot if in GU or the old IMOQ), speaking about the game and the visor and all that. I think they did mention that you dont need to speak in real life in order to 'speak' in the game, because you're somehow letting your brain do all that work for you. And vice-versa, if you speak in real life while playing the game doesnt means your character will speak too. And they can do that because they're freaking more advanced than us >.>
Anyways, after the ramble...
Mellow Grunty takes more time on making that sound (what does he say? o.o) than actually talking. And while he was standing in that bridge (Death Grunty event), i just wanted to kick him off xD

Who knows?
I know it's theoretically possible for what TheSorrow suggest to work. You'd just need a magic set of goggles that can pick up on subvocalizations (If that's even the correct word. >_>) in the throat and amplify that sound somehow and you'd be able to speak in the game without talking in real life. And you just need some kind of mute button in order to talk in real life without talking in the game.
How an M2D would accomplish that is uh... beyond me.

The same way you can do movement in the game without moving in real life...If you'v seen in the News about those people who are playing outside and even in a bus, you'll see that they never speak or move following the game (if they do, its because they have to walk/speak in real life, and it seems to not affect the game...other than they get distracted). And remember, characters in The World doesnt just move or kick chim chims, they can also use their bodies like if they were real, moving every limb and part of the body the game allows them to, regardless if they can in real life (best example: Subaru)Goldhawk00 wrote: How an M2D would accomplish that is uh... beyond me.
And that is why The World is the best game to play if you wanna fall into a coma, because it creates an alternate dimension where you can separate your mind and let it be 'sucked' inside the game.

Oy that annoys the heck out of me!!! >.< That happened against the fight with Alkaid and I had her almost to 300 hp, no hits on any of my party and I was ready to whack her a couple of times and then the stupid thing goes into cut-scene mode! >.< Gee don't let us have any self-esteem or anything. Let's just let Haseo go nuts out of nowhere...Slayn wrote:I find it slightly humorous that every tournament battle in the battle arena, even though I could one hit all of my opponents, it still pretended that I was losing or something. Then it tells me I need to use my Avatar. :\
When I say slightly humorous I mean borderline annoying.
Anyway, back on topic. What I find funny are...chims =D I just love kicking them all day long n.n. I'd say mecha grunty too but I'm just tired of bumping into him.
