but every monster in the origanal game were infected (by the fact that they could give off virus cores) so it is doubtful that the game was fully cleansed of them. Some could have stayed hidden Who is to say that they didnt escape into the new system like the avaters did What I meant by Avatar space was the cybernetic type place that the bugs appereared from ex. when kite and blackrose were at the catherdrol and the graphics changed and the bug appeared
ex. the blak dots the AIDA appears from
Virus Cores are part of Morganna, so they exist in EVERYTHING in the world. It only becomes viral because you're removing it from it's natural place in the system. The game CAN be fully cleansed of them for one reason.

Aura = God of the World.
Thus
Aura = Can do pretty much anything she wants in like one keystroke.

The space where the bugs manifest from is not Avatar Space. Avatar Space is something only the eight Avatars can access. Hence why it's frickin' called Avatar Space.
if virus cores can be taken then the monster were infected some how
I am not going off the easter eggs. I am going off of .hackwiki
Well then you're an even bigger idiot, because the wiki says that the Liminality info is W-R-O-N-G.
wasnt there an avater space type place in the first games like where you fought the phases?
That was just a Phase altering the graphics of a field. Any random moe can walk in there and interrupt the fight. Avatar Space is overlapping the World R:2 so that while the Avatars are fighting, normal players see the Infinity Eight running around like cracked up buffoons.

It seems to vary based on the individual. Some seem to see the battle happen as usual only the Avatar user is acting weird. However others seem to have time just stop for them until the avatar is gone. Maybe this has to do with something that player have in various levels.

AIDA and data bugs are the same things, but not in a "data bugs turned into AIDA" sense, more like a "this is basically the same thing they threw at us last time" sense, except now they infect PCs.
No those were just unique fields. No one but Epitaph Wielders can see Avatar Space. Yet Kite and his friends saw the field clearly.
Oh, I just assumed that the Avatar space was simply what was left over of the phase fields after the RA plan failed, but the only base for that theory was based on how Haseo was shown transforming into Skeith in one of those fields in the prototype video.

This has actually been bothering me for a while, what do normal people see when they use avatars? Do they just run around and scream, or do they draw weapons (Haseo had his out when he came out of skeith while fighting bordefwerex (Spelling -_-)).
The Epitaph User glows, they might hover, they pull out their weapon, run around, and kick some ass, killing people in one hit.

No, it's just the Avatar being faster than normal. In an Avatar battle, you have to actually fight and wear each other down, but with just another player, it only takes one hit to take them down since they're n00bs without Avatars.

Not quite. Data Bugs were just a side effect of the problem. AIDA actually ARE the problem.

Those fields were probably deleted when Aura came to power. Avatar Space isn't even a field. It's an alternate dimension in the world that can't be travelled to spacially, even with hacking. It's just always there hanging over your head. It exists merely because the Avatars exist. If they were all transported to World of Warcraft, WoW would have an Avatar Space.
