What is your favorite Anime branch of the .Hack series?
My favorite would be .Hack//Sign
Not just because it introduced me to a wonderful, and seemingly never-ending series... =D
... But because of the termoil the main character goes through, and how he/she comes to make true friends and overcome his/her real-world problem.
Her father must die D=
I also like Liminality...I'm not exactly sure why, but i do =O
-edit- grr..it won't let me edit it to include Roots =O

Hard.
Liminality was so amazing. I actually re-watch it every couple of weeks. But my favorite is .hack//sign for the emotions you get from it. The sense of mystery, the forbidden, and something inexplicable and dangerous happening in a place that should be devoid of danger... It gave me a wonderful feeling when I watched .hack//sign.
I'll vote for .hack//sign, even though I like Mai Minase better than Tsukasa as a character.

SIGN for me. Great character developments and it was a perfect prequel to the games. Not to mention it was a stand-alone series unlike ROOTS (one of the reasons i didn't like ROOTS).
Liminality is great, but alot of it doens't make sense if you don't play the games.
Legend of the Twilight anime can BUUUUUUUUURNNNN for all i care.
