'Cause I looked on Wikipedia, and nothing came up.

Im wondering if hes been infected by AIDA...  like in the vol. 2 trailers when he injected himself with the AIDA or thats what it looked like. But that would be mean doubled AIDA on his ass. Bonehead.

Doll Syndrome is real, but they aren't gonna be hypnotized and be all "Aida...aida...aida..." like zombies or something like they show here.

No it's not. Only in the context of Online Jack does it exist.

I guess when you consider the fact that there are cases when kids get absorbed with games, so much so that they practically won't do anything else, you could say Doll Syndrome is "real." But not to the dramatic effect that it's portrayed in .hack, so never mind. You're right. :P

By the way, that reminds me. A friend told me once that there was a kid playing an MMORPG...Everquest or something, I believe...and he played it for something like, a week straight, without any pause whatsoever. He got the record for reaching max level fastest, but the poor kid died from malnutrition and whatnot. :( That really makes me sad to think that such a thing could happen.

...Unless said friend was playing off of how gullible I am and using it to his advantage. :?

Man, did I get off topic. Sorry!

Well, the description for this section claims that it covers both Roots and Online Jack, so I guess it's safe. :)
