Is there a fast way to switch between the broad and twin swords like setting it to a skill trigger?

From what I've seen from the trailers, it seems like you can change weapons on the fly by using R1 and L1....But that was in the Japanese Versions of the games, and in the English Versions, it might be a little more different...

You can only do this after getting the third form in volume 2.

In volume 1 you can only switch weapons in the Equipment window. In Volume 2 you can assign weapons to the Skill Trigger.

It's useful, but you can ONLY switch the weapons by doing a weapon skill, so if you don't have enough SP or your skill gauge isn't full yet, you'll have to open up your menu and do it manually.

But opening the menu still works even if you haven't got enough sp to use a skill, right? I haven't encountered otherwise.

Yes, we're only talking about the instant weapon switching you can do through customizing your skill trigger.

In Vol 1, you start out as Twin Sword and achieve Edge Punisher.
In Vol 2, you start out with Twin Sword and Edge Punisher and achieve Flick Reaper.
In Vol 3, you start out with Twin Sword, Edge Punisher and Flick Reaper and achieve what we call X-form.
