Definetly in 3D, no other way to do it. But in order to fit enough for it to be a good story and follow the spirit of the game it would have to be at least two hours long.

Oh the chickens. Good times, good times. That would have to be in the movie. My dad laughed so hard when he saw that.
And whoever voted that Zelda sucks better show themselves. *Loads shotgun*.

Asta Lavista baby 8) . Bang. Crap I missed. You got lucky this time.
What are everyone elses ideas?
That your a bit crazy.
S1lentOp is right. If they make a movie, make it CGI with VA's instead of live action. It would make the movie more interesting, that's what I think.
Oh, and S1lentOp no they haven't realy had a VA for link, he talks a bit in a few games, but these are like one worder's which aren't always words.
There was a website that I lost the link to that hosted episodes of the original Zelda TV show. I wish I could find it >_< But in it, Link talked and he was a perverted butthole.
Youtube has clips of it if you look up Zelda cartoon.
If it was going to be a movie it would have to be in 3D and have visual effects. Of course. I honestly can sit down and picture a movie. Don't know if it would be any good to anybody else. I think that with a little faith a good movie can become of it. And

I actually enjoyed The Spirits Within. I really don't see why people criticize it so badly. It still has a lot of elements from Final Fantasy. I just wish I had time to watch it again.

The CGI was pretty good for its time, I'll give it that. AC topped it of course, but still.

Storywise, it seemed really weak and cliche...
I think I prefer it over Advent Children. I don't know, I think I got sick off FFVII a long time ago and it's more interesting to me to see something different instead of a sequel or whatever.
FFVII is really cool and all but it is just getting so old. The Spirits Within was actually an okay movie. The story was weak though Sirk, I agree. Now let's stay on topic or this post is as good as locked.
I think the movie do fairly well if it was done in a set of movies. The only problem is Link going to talk or any of the other characters? People dont wanna read text with no voice overs.
And if theres voice overs then whos going to voice it? We saw what happened with the english dubs for ff7ac (they were alright but jpn was better imo). Are we going to have movie stars do it? Alot of questions have to be answered (remember those zelda games that had voice overs?! Terrible...)
In terms of action, mystery and such, Zelda would do quite well.
They could start Zelda where Link gets Navi then ends when he takes the sword of time with Ganondorf entering the realm for instance.
Then would that make it a series if you end it like that? And definetly no movie stars . Angelina Jolie stars as Zelda lol . Tom Hanks as Link. No way. That would be awful.
I want to Link to talk. At first he couldn't talk because they didn't have the technology but now they do and it is getting annoying. I WANT HIM TO TALK!!! Goodness
