Has anyone Read the book? I just got it (with mutation) And the story in really diffrent from the game in some ways. Any comments?

The book was pretty good however it kinda changed some things around. It was funny though and I got a real kick out of it.

I have no problems with it..infact..its kind of funny how Akira/BlackRose and Kites character logs change..

One of the BIG difrents I found is when Kite and blackrose first meet She totaly made kite look like the bad guy and when infact it was her acting all tough lol but what one is the real one @.@ lol

Tokyopop has been made aware of the problems with volume 1 (most notably, the role reversal you guys mentioned). In order to avoid any more like those, they've recruited a few fan consultants to help with volumes 2-4.

That's good news to hear

But, yeah....rebirth was good, but they could've improved in some points (such as the character introduction)...I didn't care too much for the introduce for a scene and then they kinda dissapear. They could've developed the story a little...

I thought it was a start to a good mystery and brought some fun to the game but the other volumes simply repeted the first.

I finished the book within half an hour. Pretty good. It was hilarious that BlackRose switched the perspectives during her first meeting with Kite and the fight with the Goblin in Grima Raef Cathedral, making Kite look like the annoying one and BlackRose the heroic one. What sucks is I didn't get what I wanted - a description of Kazu's battle with the Data Bug.

it just came out recintly I got it the day it came in the book is alittle shorter but its still awsome.

The book was released on October 7th. It is really good. However they did add some stuff but I don't want to ruin it. Also the art gallery at the end shows more character including the girls that are picking on Akira.
