sry to have to disagree but 7 was the best. lol ever played 8 because i just really couldnt get into it. and somehow i really got into 9 (some how)??? and i like that. and thats where i stoped. the system with 10 i didnt like thats why i really didnt play it at all. but i think the reason why ppl like 7 so much is because of the materia

After X-2, I think my liking of Final Fantasy stopped because of the role playing game lack that some suffer from.

There are ways to make it harder... I know somebody who took like two hours to beat the Ronso guy (without restarting), because he had the anti random encounter item on and didn't level up at all. Also, getting a perfect save is dang hard, even if it doesn't really involve battle. Curse you, moogle suit!

i hated this game, it was soo simple to beat. the only good things were the trainer and specital dress-spheres.

I thought the game just plain out sucked. I bought it and was amazed for like 10 minutes, then I found it easilly tiring after roaming around Spira (like we had all done once before).

I saw it as pure fanboy, yet I keep playing it for fun of leveling up. I guess it grew on me.

I've heard that the new FF is quite good, but I'm waiting to see FFVII:DoC and KH2 at the moment.
The story with Vincent is going to be interesting.
On the subject of FFX-2, I never really got into the game too much because of the lack of story and the job system was a tad odd.

i honestly did not like it, i think i may have been expecting another at least another semi-serious game like FFX for its sequel and i got a lighthearted adventure.. it wasnt all that bad as far as it being a game goes, but it did not live up to what most people expected from it.

about FFX-2... it was pretty good... they even managed to fool me into thinking that the guy in the cage was tidus ^^

ive read guides for 100 completion, and they always talk about the most complext startegies to defeat the bosses.... but all u have to do is use the special dress sphere and kick their @$$

I really liked the fast style of gameplay (the ATB was a welcome return), and I've always been a whore for Final Fantasies that use some version of the job system. Also there were some pretty good one-liners, and some of the music was really good despite it being from a different composer. I just wish it hadn't been so full of arbitrary fanservice, it almost made me feel guilty playing it. :?

Oh, and I was really expecting Paine to be annoyingly cookie-cutter, and she was, but I still liked her a lot.

Sad attempt to bring back the job system of FFV. One major disappointment was the fact that most of the coolest jobs from FFV weren't even included. And sorry for anyone who loved Yuna/Rikku/Paine, but they were just a pain in the ass. Only one I liked in the beginning was Rikku but by the end I ended up hating her as well. I regret buying the game.
