Just a nitpick. The last three Roots episodes don't ruin story continuuity at all O.o

except for the bit where subarou is in the cathedral. there's no one there in the game opening. they could at least have had her keep her head below the tops of the seats.

then there's the scenes that happen in episode 26 that don't occur in vol. 1. still work, but a little annoying that there's these little holes in the continuity in vol. 1.

other than that, there's just a lot of little detail issues. shino's hair, the way the fight between kite and haseo goes, the fact that there's a crowd when sakaki and haseo argue, etc.

Those aren't continuity issues so much as game medium vs. anime medium. Even if things looked different, it doesn't mean that they aren't the same thing happening. And scenes that occur in episode 26 that don't occur in volume one are called Ret-cons, and totally cannon. 8D

I'm a bit tired of all this going back and forth about ROOTS ruining the flow of the story... Really, it's a different storytelling medium. Things will be different, that's to be expected. As long as there aren't any outright contradictions between sources, there hasn't been any real harm done.

but...but retacons are continuity issues. 0_o

oh nevermind. I guess it does work well enough for the purposes of explaining plot twists and filling in what happened from haseo becoming a player up to vol. 1....

Maybe the old characters from R1 that were Aura`s friends entered the world R2 and Helba helped them to hack there old characters and buala we got the characters from sign,games and lotb

And what proof was there that she wasn't there in the games? It's not like the player gets a chance to look.

What ABOUT Shino's hair? The color? That's a lighting effect caused by Haseo's flashbacks. Tri-Edge and Haseo's fight goes just fine. There was a bit of a crowd when Sakaki and Haseo argued, etc.

What ABOUT Shino's hair? The color? That's a lighting effect caused by Haseo's flashbacks. Tri-Edge and Haseo's fight goes just fine. There was a bit of a crowd when Sakaki and Haseo argued, etc.

The old .hack characters are gone. -_- get the hell over it. Their characters can't exist in the World R:2 no matter what hacking skills Helba possesses, if she even gives a damn. Or if the players give a damn. They have lives. They've moved on from the game by the time of Udeden.

A lot of talk again. The 3 .hackers are "Kite", "Balmung" and "Orca"(Duh), from what I understood Phyllo has disappeared from the game, and...WTF, Haseo has Skeith by his side already!?

Yah but..I'm talking about when he finnaly 'awakens' to realize it = =; sorry for being vague.

It's only that it's been a ep since his DD and now he's already brandish(zoom up on his body) and has skeith awakened.

I'd say that's forshadow of events in GU, b/c he wouldnt just have jumped up to his second form that quick. I think that was all just a glimpse of what's to happen in Rebirth.

He doesn't get the armor until volume two. As for the cape, I don't know, they took it out to put less stress on the animators?

Well I'm watching ep 26 RAW so I'll update this as I go..

Haseo is back..noobie form..talks to Touta..

Phyllo is gone and Haseo is depressed..

Pai was teaching Kuhn how to use his avatar against AIDA which infected a statue

It seems they discovered a AIDA which has a small body(pink thing in the blackness)

OMG THE CRIMSON KNIGHT TALK TO HASEO OMG!!!!

Haseo spends this ep mostly walking around and talking to people..SABUROU INCLUDED..I guess he realizes what to do..They become friends actually!

That guy freaks me out..his face is weirdly drawn..O.o and he is like..hitting on a girl or something.

I actually got this scene without subs..tabby talks about what he's gonna do..he says train again..she asks if he's gonna be a PKK..he says no..thats about it..which I understood XD..and then tabby says some things that make Haseo make funny faces XD

I think Tabby confessed something to him..I think she likes him actually O.o; don't trust me on this though..

AND HIS IMAGE SLOWLY CHANGES INTO THE PREVIOUS PIC OF SKEITH AND HIS..whichever form..>_>; AND THEN CHANGES BACK
