*sigh* I wish they were clearer as to whats going on. in GU the fight goes differently, no one is visible in the church other than TE and haseo, and ovan walks in. then there's the fact that haseo fights the PKs in a dusk setting instead of at night, they don't mention the email that alerts haseo that ovan's there, and the whole thing with the crowd gathering around sakaki and haseo that exist in one version but not the other....

now, ovan's an odd guy, I wouldn't doubt it if they told us the whole ovan thing was in haseo's head. but all these specifics being different...very troublesome. -_-

when haseo is falling unconcious after being DD'ed, the last thing he sees is ovan in the doorway.

but in roots, Saburou never mentions seeing ovan to touta, and after haseo disappears they just cut to a later scene.

  i actually spoiled the fight between T-E and Haseo on accident on youtube. Nothing real important except extended fight scenes but there was a chance that Haseo did see Ovan because he was looking to the door as his body was...disintagrating? Anyway if Ovan was there they wouldnt have shown (and there shouldve been an eye scene...)

Is that possibly Haseo's Power? We see only one other instance of it inside Roots and that's at an incredibly Early Episode, h sees Ovan, in a fizzy, fuzzy world and sees him walk through a wall, but Haseo literally walks into Tawaraya, who's not to say this isn't his power acting again, Ovan apparently has a way to appear invisible when he desires. Though it's difficult to tell if Touta had just arrived though. It's implied, but never blatantly said, when questioned by Saburou, he just says "No." he doesn't say "He just arrived." But it';s probably best not to assume to that. But I'm guessing Haseo can se Ovan at that time only because of his power. Since in the game, Ovan is not surprised at what happened and seems to lord it over Haseo. Though in the anime that was a pretty sad and pathetic moment for Haseo, the animator's did an excellent job at the Haseo-Ovan talk scene. Since it shows that Ovan had tricked him the whole time. It's also the only time in Roots, we are shown that pathetic smile, that screams "Help me!"

it suffered the most from the streamlining of designs for the anime. ;_;

Yeah, I thought Haseo's final form looked a bit skewed compared to the game's rendition. I'm curious as to how the second form would look. But then again, it's probably better that I don't. >.<

He is shocked to see TE is a man and then pwns him with 2 blades while he had 4 weapons(Each dagger, chainsaw sword, scythe) and then he lags out and appears never to return until the next time...Keep looking to the stars.

Haseo asks Ovan where he has been the 6 month's he was missing, since in Rebirth, it says "8 month's later..." Which is hinted at "Even when the Twilight Brigade fell apart you didn't show!"These are my estimates...

Haseo's Change, which may be a couple of weeks as well. Most likely his quest to become stronger ended at the Painful Forest I'm sure a month had passed by then.

Two month's of Tri-Ege searching and PKKing... there are undoubtedly some screw up's in this.
