Simple question....um.. Will the anime be released with the games? if not, how many episodes will it have?

Does anyone think they'll take the manga from the magazines and make it an actually manga book?

Doubtful. It'll probably work the same way as SIGN. I estimate that it might have around 26 episodes.

Yes, they'll gather the manga and publish it in a collected volume(s).

I don't think the anime would be released with the games. The reason why they did that with Liminality was because it was only 4 episodes long and it was a OVA. The number of episodes would probably depend on the popularity of the anime. It might have the standard 20-something or the 50 something. I just hope it doesn't pull a Inuyasha and go on what seems like forever.

Agreed, Inuyasha should've ended a long time ago and it's simply just repeating itself -_-

Would it be a mistake if they did either. I mean if .Hack//Root came with the games then would that be a good or bad move? Your thoughts?

a different anime OVA comes with the games. It doesnt have a name yet, but check the front page of the site.

Yes, Online Jack comes with the games. This section used to be used to discuss both Roots and Online Jack.

Online Jack doesn't really come with the game, it's IN the game. There are no separate OVAs this time around.

I wouldn't call it a cutscene because it's separate from the game's actual storyline in The World (although there's some interminglement and stuff like liminality). "Supplemental video series" in the news capture section of Altimit Mine OS sounds more important.
