Oh! That must be the strange summon the "The Bracelet" uses! I've been wondering about that...

So, Silent Bomber is the only weapon with that skill? I must go find it now. ^_^ Some of those trade items are so weird...christmas card? Chinese food? Oh well. *shrugs*

yes

its the very skill the bracelet uses

and yes Silent Bomber is the only one

bad thing is, you can only get one, so once you give it to Elk, you cant give it to anyone else unless you can manage to get him to put it on his trade list

and they are wierd, but are very helpful to get

I just brought Helba, Had Elk well equipped, had all characters fairly capable in healing with "ola repth" or better.Lots of haling items, ressurects, fairy orbs, antidotes etc.

And never ever use anything more than datadrain. I used Data drain only and passed the dungeon. I used drain-heart only and didnt make it passsed floor 4.

Once again, you could drain heart your way through the dungeon...It's a matter of luck if you don't kill the server.
You can only reach 100% max infection. All status effects are completely random and don't change the odds for using a higher version of DD...the only differences are the higher SP consumption and quicker infection

how in the world did you make it through with Ola Repth???

you need Phal Repth to stay ontop of the monsters, especially when you fight the bosses

that is straight from the book

its a area summon that takes 130 Sp to use, however it will kill just about anything in one hit

and, it can Elemntal Critical just about anyone because it's all the elements piled into one

thats why it hurts so bad

I probably did use Phal Repth, its been a while. And the problem and reason I didnt use drain heart was as you said, it raises the infection rate alot higher and faster in comparison to data drain.

hmmmm i was around 91 an i beat it last night. Helba helped alot. used Ap do (favorite spell!) to avoid field mosters. its all about luck. How many times you get treasures, how many portals give data bugs. Occassionaly i got about a floor or so without any data bugs, just normal monsters and could get my infection down. first try i got to 13th floor with the infection 100% since the 2nd floor

get lucky. use Data Drain, not heart.

i didnt use Ap Do

i used a Grunty

haha i just like ap do a lot. i dunno in my third play through of infection, i got it from doing the zeit statue thing and got addicted, now i cant live without it

take balmung and wiseman

but Ap Do on u

then run circles round balmung

it will take wiseman a bit to catch up to you, so while balmung runs after u, wiseman is orbitting him

Yes you can die from Infection. It's happened to me on more then one occasion when attempting this dungeon.

of course you can die from high infection

its like a fail safe

those who get DD happy get overrun with the viruses in the monsters data

causing it to go to you

which then makes you infected

and anything that is infected will at some point die unless the infection is cured or lessened

common sense proves that you can die from infection lvl

Well, technically you don't die from 100% infection, you simply cause a server error, which doesn't kill you (nor does it save any progress made).
But, those are a pain in the ass when you constantly get those...
