We don't know. That is one of the Big Questions of GU: "What happened to Aura, and why?". What we do know is that evidence indicates she vanished sometime in 2014, which would be not long after the events of LotTBChili wrote:Was Shino that accurate about Aura losing hope in The World? I don't see why you needed to spoiler this as there isn't even any definitive proof to suggest that Tawaraya could be Taika.AuraTwilight wrote:And I have just a sense that Tawaraya could, just could be Taika.
For one thing, Tawaraya was a business-man in charge of all the big fads in the world while Taika is a former arena champion, the two choices of occupation just don't add up.
I'm guessing he'll simply return as Tawaraya when his suspension is complete or not return at all.
I only put spoiler in his name, not the whole thing. Some people who haven't yet played GU don't neccessarily want to know anything what happens or what persons are in the game.Umbra wrote:I don't see why you needed to spoiler this as there isn't even any definitive proof to suggest that Tawaraya could be Taika.AuraTwilight wrote:And I have just a sense that Tawaraya could, just could be Taika.

So I don't really see anything bad if I put a spoiler warning when I mention his name...
and of course there isn't really any proof that Tawaraya could be Taika. This is just my opinion and the impression I get from him. And I already mentioned that he just could be him and didn't really mention anything of a fact.
And if someone knows, how long has it actually been since Taika was one of the champions in the arena? There can happen quite a lot in 8 months.
And why did I have an impression that Tawaraya could be Taika is pretty much that they are little same in nature and so on. It can always be bossible that he and Tawaraya have nothing to do with each other.
Besides Tawaraya was only role playing as a business-man when he was playing as Tawaraya. He can always take a different role if he wants if he even makes a new character and even if he continues (if he even can) with his old Tawaraya character he can throve his business-man attidud away and start to be the way he wants.
It is always hard to know who could be who when the real person in real world doesn't even neccessarily show his real character in The World...
That's mostly speculation you know. We haven't been told why she left.Chili wrote:Uh, sorry. Who's that again?

i think he will return. Tawaraya did say 30 days. roots is 8 months before G.U. so expect him to return at some point. As for Bset and Gord, they will return only if something sparks in thier mind about Ovan. Some revelation that Ovan did not betray them and Shino still waits for him. The trust Haseo places in Ovan and his resolve. They will return. I also expect Bordeux and company to have more air time as it will tie into Haseo becoming a PKK.I'm guessing he'll simply return as Tawaraya when his suspension is complete or not return at all.
There's no way Tawaraya is Taika... Their motives, personalities, interests, everything is completely different...
So, I'm behind in Roots, but I heard it seems likely Pai is Ender. Isn't that a little odd? TaN is a big guild, you can't just make it overnight. According to the Terminal Disc, Pai doesn't even join CC until after Ovan forms the first Twilight Brigade. I think she says that was "a year ago" in the game, so that's like 4 months before Roots starts. Kestrel has been around since before Roots, and TaN (called "gigantic" at every opportunity on the website) is of comparable size, so it seems weird that TaN could get so large so quickly... It seems like everyone would be talking about TaN, not Ovan, if such a weird thing happened... I suppose it might have been going with just Yata before Pai showed up, but wasn't the entire point to get Ovan? That seems to make it impossible for TaN to have existed more than 4 months, and it would be "younger" than the Twilight Brigade (the old one at least)...

TaN was Tawaraya's Guild really, and it was of a considerable size before Roots began. Naobi and Ender, who we now know are Yata and Pai, simply used the Guild as a cover for their plan to capture Ovan.
They didn't seem capable of acting as Administrators in order to capture Ovan so being a member of such a large Guild where all information centralises is probably the next best thing.

We can't even be sure that Naobi is Guildmaster, needless to say, he is a Guildmaster in the sense that he's in charge of the illegal operations TaN are involved in.
However, Tawaraya is the figure-head of TaN, the one people request meetings with if they wish to talk to him about TaN's actions. He even gets suspended for allowing Naobi and Ender to perform illegal activities within his Guild.
So I guess that either one could be Guildmaster, but I get the feeling that Tawaraya was the Guildmaster of TaN, even if he isn't at the start of Roots, simply because he cares about the Guild.

Tawaraya seems to be separated from the actions of Naobi and Ender, even if Naobi created the Guild, he cares nothing for its official purpose as a Guild of trade and simply uses it to cover his scheming with regards to Ovan.
In effect, Naobi and Ender are practically part of a separate Guild from Tawaraya, doing completely different things and following completely different objectives. Naobi keeps Tawaraya around because he's useful but neither of them really seem to care about the other's objectives.
I guess that makes Naobi the Guildmaster, but to the eyes of the Administration and everyone outside of TaN, Tawaraya is the Guildmaster, even the Grunty printed on TaN's Guild invitation resembles him.

That's because he administrates the @Home, which houses mainly the trading operations. But there's a "darker" side to TaN as well, led by Ender (hence the ninjas - the website says she's in charge of gathering illegal and fake data, PKing if necessarily, and this probably feeds into the duping operation which Tawaraya is a part of, remember?). They both answer to Naobi though, and both run errands for him. If Naobi founded the guild, he founded even the trading part (it says that TaN was founded with that as its main principle), so at one point he at least seemed more interested. Also, people associate Sakaki, Matsu, etc. with Tsuki no Ki even though they're not the guildmaster.
Anywise, we're drifting away from my original point that this guild somehow got started in 4 months. Unless you're saying that someone with no interest, fufilling no actual leadership capacity, with goals that differ entirely from the founder's, suddenly took over Tawaraya's guild for no apparent reason and with unanimous approval, I don't see how what you're saying explains it...

I don't know why the website would say otherwise if that were the case, Naobi simply delegates out duties. It's not like those ninjas aren't part of TaN, Tawaraya's only leader of part of the guild, he doesn't even "de facto" run the whole thing...
But really, even if he did, that would just make Naobi's leading the uild more questionable, right?

Yeah, I hear ya...When I saw that I was thinking..."Fixing...the data?" He's like the Guardian of The World...in a way....The Anaconda wrote: im not really sure what to think of of Tri-Edge at this point. especially since he was floating around in wireframe-space and fixing the damaged areas
And what I said just covers that. He's trying to save The World but going about it the wrong way...and on a random note...I wonder if he can talk or if he does at any point in the anime or game...just a little thought.AuraTwilight wrote: My current theory is that Tri-Edge is trying to stabilize and fix the system like Kite used to, and takes it to the extreme by removing unstable elements like Players.
Yeah I noticed that too. But I didn't expect Shino's fall so soon...what will they do for the next 13 episodes?~! Episode 13 was pretty emotional for me...I loved Haseo's expression at the end...crying over Shino then turning to his boiling anger and desire for vengence. Not to mention a few minutes before seeing Shino fall he avenged himself for his first PK. This is where Haseo begins his quest for strength and defeating all PKers by becoming the strongest player and PKK. I can't wait for episode 14!!!Dragoon2044 wrote: those who saw the episode take a look at tri-edges shadow towards the end. that shadow is Ovan's shadow...
I have a question...when Shino and Tabby were standing on the bridge and Shino go that message...was that from Ovan or from Tri-Edge...or was it from Tri-Edge saying he was Ovan...? Why would Tri-Edge target Shino? Because she was unstable? And...pardon me asking....who is Taika? The name sounds familiar...but I just can't place it right now...
