Mimiru for sure, mostly because even though I'm a guy I'm a lot like her and would play the game and and interact with the others a lot like she did. I just like her style and personality and Heavy Blades just rock...

But from what I HAVE seen, I would say Subaru.
(I would pick Helba, hands down, but that wouldn't be fair, she got a head-start with me in Fragment.)

Mine, is Maha from .Hack//SIGN.
Many reasons.
For starters, I love cats (animals in general). My username is related to a animal I love.
Maha is shrowded in mystery and we never really learn much about her. She could go through places Tsukasa probably couldn't.
it leaves many questions unanswered.

I love her for the fact she cared about Tsukasa and gave her life.
She's funny and cute too.

I think you're confusing them.

BlackRose is one of the main characters in .Hack//IMOQ, who befriends Kite and goes into the quest against Morganna with him and all, only appearing in SIGN at the last episode "Unison" where the characters from SIGN and IMOQ meet each other. And Mimiru, who has a very similar model as BlackRose, is a completely different character who befriends Tsukasa and appears in pretty much every SIGN episode. Mimiru was in more than one episode, but BlackRose only in one, and just as a small appearance too, getting into a little fight with Mimiru about who was the "original".
