Coincidence?
I found this while watching an episode of SIGN. Call me crazy, but is this suggesting the two versions of The World? R1 and R2?
Sorry if you don't understand this.

Re: Coincidence?
LOL that's kinda funny... I wonder if they did it on purpose..... I bet they did.

Re: Coincidence?
Lol, you are very observative.
I would say it's probably there on purpose. Besides, the creators always like to throw in little quirks like that.
Thanks for pointing that out though. ^_^

Re: Coincidence?
R1 and R2 are both computer technology jargon. The "R:1 & R:2" versions of Za Warudo was a pun.

Jargon? Ham? I think AuraTwilight is starting to lose it.AuraTwilight wrote:R1 and R2 are both computer technology jargon.
Re: Coincidence?
IMO, it means to be "Resistor 1" and "Resistor 2", not connected with R:1 and R:2
FYI, Resistor is a component from PCB: Printed Circuit Board
[usually, Resistor always indicated by R(number)]

well anyways, they prolly did put that there, wats the R1 and R2 mean anyway? it actually does confuse me a lil, cause usually theres like V1 or Ver2. and btw i dont read the .hack info much... so dont **** at me

Re: Coincidence?
R1 refers to the original The World, pretty much the .hack conglomerate. R2 refers to the new The World (The World R:2) aka GU.tsukasa4692 wrote:well anyways, they prolly did put that there, wats the R1 and R2 mean anyway? it actually does confuse me a lil, cause usually theres like V1 or Ver2. and btw i dont read the .hack info much... so dont **** at me

Re: Coincidence?
I can safely confirm those are Resistor numbers:
They bare an unremarkable resemblance to the picture depicted on post one. This may however be a slight indication that there was going to be an R:2 as the numbers are coincidently R1 and R2. Nice catch though!

Re: Coincidence?
damn. any other "coincidences" in the series?
Re: Coincidence?
Yes, yes..there is no coincidence in this discovery. Just wishful thinking.
Re: Coincidence?
Goodness you really keep up with details don't you?
I wouldn't have seen that;; cool observation @.@

Re: Coincidence?
It's certainly ironic, but I'm afraid that's all it is.
Re: Coincidence?
Nice catch, but yeah...resistors. Juuust a circuit board [thingy], people.
But by that logic...
!! Did anyone notice what's BETWEEN R1 and R2? Why, it's U2! I think this is a hint that they'll be making a soundtrack for .hack sometime in the near future. Gosh, those clever developers. How they vex us.

Who listens to U2 anymore?Satu wrote:Nice catch, but yeah...resistors. Juuust a circuit board [thingy], people.

Re: Coincidence?
I noticed that Tsukasa strikes a resemblance to Elk.tsukasa4692 wrote:damn. any other "coincidences" in the series?
Bear looks similar to Orca.
And the girl at the start of the .Hack//Sign theme song seems to be B.T.

Re: Coincidence?
The reason why Tsukasa-Elk and Bear-Orca look the same is because of the PC model they chose, it's the same with Mimiru-Blackrose, Shino-Atoli, etc...coincidence? I think they are just pointing out that it is a MMORPG and that usually happens.
Re: Coincidence?
The conglomerate is for The World R:2. PROJECT .HACK is for the original The World.Balmung2 wrote:R1 refers to the original The World, pretty much the .hack conglomerate.
