Mutation Cubia. IMO there should be a choice between the different times you fight Cubia, because the most important fight with it was actually pretty easy.

In Mutation, however, Cubia was a **** the first time.

Mine was Skeith without a doubt. It took me 40 - 50 min to defeat him. Next (but too far away...) was Tarvos. The other ones was a lot easier because I was leveled up a lot, before entering those dungeons.

Myself, I put down Corbenik. I especially hated when he spat out vines and drained all my hit points several times.

Skeith was the hardest boss for me to beet! I had stocked up as many health potions as i was allowed to get and many other helpful items, and never was able to beet it!

So, I got one of my friends to beet him. Skeith liked to data drain mostly BlackRose!

She was a perfect target. She got me so mad on one of my attempts to defect Skeith! Both Mistril and I had died, and I kept telling her to revive me and she said, "That's not my problem!" What the crap?! O_o ...needless to say, shortly after the screen read "Game Over." T_T

Skeith because of how early LV up wise you fight it that and magic hardly damages it and you don't want kite fighting it up close.

Macha close 2nd because her charm all party members at once skill has a 100% accuracy rate even with a body and mind stat of 99.

Tarvos was my second pain in the butt. I fought him a dozen times before I could beat him because of his dang one kit KO attack.

does the 15 floor dungeon count as a boss battle?

Actually, I found the dungeon itself wasn't that hard, and the boss was EASY. It's just the fear of max infection that makes it seem difficult.

Cubia's difficulty doesn't change. He uses the same tactics each time, the only differences being
1-He gains more "phases" each time you fight him
2-The phases get more HP
3-He gets more special attacks (maybe the only thing that makes him a little harder)

So the final time you fought him, you were at a good enough level to take him down rather easily.

Well, yes it would count as a boss battle seeing it's the boss of that dungeon, but I agree with .hack//BICTIOUS, that boss is quite easy (and IIRC, you don't need to DD that boss)

^^^- You don't DD that boss-- at least, I didn't get a protect break when I fought it.// I see I'm not the only one who thought Skeith was the hardest. I think it was hard because of the amount of healing items you have to use just to get your characters back to full heath- I really thought I was going to run out before I could DD it. As for Cubia- well, he was pretty easy and his attacks rarely put my characters in critical. mostly, he was just annoying.

The hardest boss battle for me was Cubia in Mutation but when I battled Cubia in outbreak Cubia was easy.
