Michael_JG wrote:I just downloaded the song (I know, I'm bad) from a site which I will not give away due to it having fan subs of Roots. It's funny how different our home made lyrics were when we did them a while back.
YASAHII RYOUTE [English ver.]
* Drawn in by an unseen cold hand,
I pass even time as it flows to eternity.
As your eyes look away into the hazy distance,
what is revealed to them, I cannot see.
As the moonlight shines on my bitter cold fingers.
Frozen tears of mine begin to flow anew.
I look at the sky. That distant far off dream,
it always has me in its view.
Unafraid, I reach my hand into the darkness.
I am at the point of no return.
If I truly realize the person I am,
hidden away inside my deepest memories.
** I still want to believe that you will return to me.
Until you are with me, together in this place.
I still want to feel until the end of time.
The gentle loving touch of your hands on my face.
Trapped inside this cage made of glass,
hurt feelings held captive in the cold and icy night.
From far beyond the infinite dark.
There must always be a ray of light.
I know that your eternal shining light
will embrace me in the warmth of infinity.
While trying to run from the pain of reality,
I'm losing sight of what is so important to me.
** repeat
* repeat
What is revealed to them, I cannot see.
I have a topic up about this, it's hard to say if this is the same thing, it's a very very rough translation at best...
I've translated another lyric of the new song, which it would appear tells us a different story...
Apeiron, Konig von ducht, odds are this is a minstranslation on my part
But if you remember Kuukai saying a while back then the word "dokk" is used to express darkness, though I am uncertain what this word sounds like my bet is darkness so let's put together the translation again...
Der Mann mit Schatten ist auf der Suche nach dem Abendracchen verriest und ? noch nicht zuruck
stellt schliesslich das Heer auf
Apeiron, Konig von ?ducht? (may be dokk as Apeiron is surely not King of the Dutch) ? ?
Die ver fluchte 'Welle' ist gemeinsam ?su? bekampft ?
So once again... this is what I have
The man with a shadow left in search of the Evening Dragon and has not yet returned.
finally raises an army.
Apeiron, King of the Dark ? ?
The 'Wave' is fought together ?
If my translation is right, This means that, Apeiron is King of the Dark, and the battle has (or is in the process of being) been fought while this is sung.
This also may hint at the "The man with a shadow left in search of the Evening Dragon and has not yet returned" raising an army, to fight alongside Apeiron, King of the Dark. As welll I could not hear one word, that translated into accursed.
Well I'll hopefully have more in a short while, any help would be appreciated.
Of course this was two month's ago. I reviewed the song extensively, I am certain of all the sounds. I also got someone to partially translate it for me as well.

I think a bit of necromancy is in order here.
She's pretty clearly singing in German, though it sounds pretty much like a straight translation from a foreign source as the wording is a bit un-Germanlike.
I hear the lyrics as:
Der Mann mit Schatten ist auf
Der Sucht nach dem Abenddrachen
Verreist, und komm' noch nicht zurueck
Helba Koenigin --- schliesslich der "Heer" auf
Apeiron Koenig von "Lucht"
---
Die verfluchte Welle ist gemeinsam zu "bekaemchen"
I place --- where the overlapping voices make it too hard to understand, and "" around the words which make no sense and indeed are nonsense.
I agree with Xu Yuan in the most part upon the translation, however, I seem to recall that Apeiron was the King of Light, which in German could be rendered as Koenig von Licht or Koenig des Lichtes. The singer appears to sing "Lucht", which could be either a misspelling in the lyrics that she read from.
Bekaemchen, in the last line, is problematic because it is nonsense. I again conclude it was poor translating/printing from Bekaempfen, or to fight/struggle.
Altogether, it appears to be the Epitaph of Twilight in altered form.
"The man with shadow is on
The search for the Twilight-dragon
[He] Travels, and returns not yet
Helba Queen -- Finally creates --
Apeiron King of "Lucht"
---
Together the Cursed Wave [Fight?]"
From the high correspondence to sections of the Epitaph, it is reasonable to conclude the overlaps are merely the rest of the verses present in the Epitaph.

Hey there.
I might help you since I'm German. But let me tell you... it's really difficult to understand the singing even for me, 'cause of the overlapping voices and especially because of the Japanese accent. But I think it goes like this:
Der Mann mit Schatten ist auf
der Such' (*1) nach dem Abenddrachen
verreist und kommt noch nicht zurück.
Helba, Königin von Schatten stellt schließlich das Heer auf.
Apeiron, König von Licht (*2) bewinkt.
Die verfluchte Welle ist gemeinsam zu bekämpfen.
*1: "Such'" is the a shorter version of the word "Suche".
*2: She's actually singing "Lucht" but that's just a pronounciation problem. The word meant is "Licht".
Translated into English the song says:
The man with shadow is gone on
the quest after the evening dragon
and is yet not returning.
Helba, Queen of Shadows, finally prepares (*1) the army.
Apeiron, King of Light, beckons.
The cursed wave has to be fought together.
*1: You can also translate it as "raises" which is more like the original passage in the English translation of the Epitaph of Twilight.
