... you know, just as I went to read this topic, I was listening to that very song. Very weird.
Not quite sure how Kajiura came up with it. In fact, I've never tried to decipher exactly what the song means (or whether it's worth it to).
Sometimes I wonder...

Re: Sometimes I wonder...
They just picked a bunch of random words out of a dictionary to use and decided to make sentences too.

say... when does she sing that sentence??Wander wrote:Where do they come up with these lyrics?
In the land of twilight, under the moon
we dance for the idiots
ring-around-the-roses, jump to the moon
we sing with the castanets
I will sing for crescent moon
dancing with the castanets
as the end will come so soon
in the land of twilight
I will sing for crescent moon
dancing with the castanets
as the end will come so soon
in the land of twilight
I will sing for crescent moon
dancing with the castanets
as the end will come so soon
in the land of twilight
now you are watchin' us outside the circle
wanna be in the company
boy, but you are lonely
dance with nobody
run away child, to your hiding place
high and loud, the sound of your bell of the twilight.. ringing..
all alone, it rings and echoes in twilight
I will sing for crescent moon
dancing with the castanets
as the end will come so soon
in the land of twilight

Around 1:57 into the song, you can hear her singing that at the same time as this part:

Indeed. You really only catch it if you’re trying to listen for it. Well, except for the last part, that is.

Re: Sometimes I wonder...
that isnt a very ellusive lyric, yuki just wrote that because she felt it was a broad term for people who dont understand your ways
