Alright then let's get started, does anyone here seem to notice that all of kite's incarnation's seem to have a connection with him?
1.Shugo: knew kaz and blackrose in real life.
2.Azure Kite: based on kite(including his love for soccer).
3.Kite(.hack//link): based on him as well.

I'm sure everyone has, and yes we are looking/waiting for a connection to Parenthesis Sora as well. Though theres always a chance the connection will be weaker, or nonexistent. Hopefully it will be stronger, since Kite is getting more face time and getting his name built back up like he deserves.
Though Shugo's connection is more indirect and he is the only other "real" Kite. So it might not be such a theme as it seems. Or at least leaves more chance for a unconnected Kite to pop up. Unconnected to a point. Though like I said, I think a lot/most/all of us are waiting to see the connection.
