Why bother?
I can't be the only one hoping for Haseo/Ovan, for once.
It's obvious, given how much time Haseo spends thinking about him as opposed to Atoli or Alkaid, or Shino for that matter.

Kiru is the kind of person who likes the more **** up characters than the normal ones lol,, but as they say.. sometimes its the normal people who you need to look out for.. but not in this case lol.Jigoku-no-Yamimaru wrote:Agreed. Re: I saw Trilogy tonight in Osaka(spoilers inside)
Well to be honest, the moment I heard the movie was going to be only an hour and a half I already was ready convinced it would be a disappointment. I think skeptics still suffer from the stigma of Advent Children, because its initial promotion has alot of similarities with Trilogy. Its over hyped, promises pretty graphics, and a great emphasis on relationships (yeah right ). But its just not possible to fulfill those claims in the alloted amount of time. In the end AC offered great action scenes and a huge clusterf**k of plotholes. It seems Trilogy will be like that too.
Still, as the visuals are pretty(AIDA Atoli looks creepy) I can just watch it for the promising action scenes and expect little else. Having low expectations really helps. And since I take a certain amount of guilty pleasure of seeing Haseo b**** slapped, the scene where Yowkow beats Haseo would be sweet for me.

Yowkow's cameo appearance is an OBVIOUS fanservice. The fact that she has screentime and more important characters didn't isn't' more obvious? Yowkow fans shouldn't be crying, they should be cheering.Kyero Fox wrote:Don't expect any cries, Lots of them were already satasfied with The marrage event in G.U... WTF has that got to do with anything? The Yowkow fanbase was at its peak between the Japanese release of Vol.2 and the release of Vol.3. They were really loud then, but most of them have matured to the point that they don't need to scream it out loud anymore.Jigoku-no-Yamimaru wrote wrote: Agreed. The reason I said that is because I honestly can't recall meeting an Alkaid fan who would cry out in the way Kiru wants them to because of Trinity. If they did it would strike me as wimpy.

One thing that doesn't add up to me though is that the Bst form is weaker than Xth. Considering how awesome the power shown in the trailer it doesn't quite add up.
I also don't like how they left out many important characters like Endrance and SakuBo.

YAY! ALKAID BEATS HASEO WOOT!
Re: I saw Trilogy tonight in Osaka(spoilers inside)
But, they didn't really. .__.;Kyero Fox wrote:Because they thought they had enough Fan base in the games.
I mean, Gorre didn't even get a CG Cutscene when the other Phases did! D: (Well, Fidchell didn't exactly appear any cutscenes, but it's awakening did... >>)
I mean, in volume 2 you can't turn around without bumping into frickin' Alkaid. DX
Endrance did get a fair bit of attention, yes, but Sakubo... ;_;
Anyway, I won't bother with the rest of the "Sakubo and Endrance aren't even in it while Alkaid is and she's not even majorly important to the story" arguments I'm bursting to say, because I don't think I'd be saying anything new. XD
But...

Not wimps, annoying. Fandom is a horrible thing, and Alkaid fans usually represent that.Jigoku-no-Yamimaru wrote:Agreed. And Kiru, is it just me or do you think Alkaid fans are wimps?Kyero Fox wrote:aww so alkaid DOES only show up for that part =\ ah well.

Examples: "OMG ALKAID IS SO AWSHUM I WANT TO MEET HER." "shez so impornt 2 plot!111!1" "she hot"
summary: The character is OK, I tried to like her, fandom ruined her completely.
Re: I saw Trilogy tonight in Osaka(spoilers inside)
Thank you Kiru, I now have to clean my screen since the Mt. Dew that I HAD been drinking is now all over the computer lol. All in all, I still wanna see the movie just because CG eye candy is always sweet to see. It does bum me out a little that the movie is waaaayyy too short and doesn't have as much depth as it should.Kiru wrote:Not wimps, annoying. I didnt want to double post in the main thread so...
http://www.hack.channel.or.jp/trilogy/event.html
It looks like there's some kinda campaign goin on for Trilogy, having to do with the dvd/bluray releases.
Could someone try to figure out what that's about?
EDIT:Looks like some kind of reservation campaign, but that's as much as I could figure out with google translator.
EDIT2: No, now it looks like they're having some kind of event that you can sign up to go to. Hard to figure out, but it seems clearer on the CC2 Trilogy site.

Out of curiosity, when do you think you will have it up of Stage 6 (Youtube's quality sucks)Zer0 wrote:RaikenTB wrote:I could do it...I really could. The dialog in the movie isn't all that complex. Problem is, having met Matsuyama in person and knowing the fansubs would no doubt be sold illegally later on I don't think I can bring myself to do itZer0 wrote:If I had known you were going, I would have paid you to take a camera with you. A cam of TRILOGY would be priceless ^^
In any case, thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing the movie ^^ Perhaps you want to help with translating it when it comes out?
I understand completely. I'd, of course, put the "This DVD is not for sale or rent" and "Buy it when it's released in your country" tickers on the movie. And there is absolutely no chance of it being sold illegally. I have the only High Quality Subtitled version, and I'm not selling. The only reason I'm subbing it is because most people (myself included) can't understand japanese, but want to enjoy this without having to wait a few months, or a year, for a dubbed release. When said dubbed release comes out, I'll take down my subbed versions of course
That said, the offer still stands. I'll completely understand if you don't want to help though ^^
I know Lu Perry usually subs things a few weeks after I do. (Apparently he orders the DVDs from Japan, then records them. Bah, I say. We want it NOW >:D )But! I bet someone else will sub it when the DVD becomes available here in Japan.

It's the internet. You can find anything you want to watch if you put some effort looking for it. I never did use Stage 6 myself.

Then don't download. It's your choice. It just really depends on how much you want to see the movie.
If you really, really want to see high quality for Trilogy get the BluRay
