Kiru is the kind of person who likes the more **** up characters than the normal ones lol,, but as they say.. sometimes its the normal people who you need to look out for.. but not in this case lol.

Well to be honest, the moment I heard the movie was going to be only an hour and a half I already was ready convinced it would be a disappointment. I think skeptics still suffer from the stigma of Advent Children, because its initial promotion has alot of similarities with Trilogy. Its over hyped, promises pretty graphics, and a great emphasis on relationships (yeah right ). But its just not possible to fulfill those claims in the alloted amount of time. In the end AC offered great action scenes and a huge clusterf**k of plotholes. It seems Trilogy will be like that too.

Still, as the visuals are pretty(AIDA Atoli looks creepy) I can just watch it for the promising action scenes and expect little else. Having low expectations really helps. And since I take a certain amount of guilty pleasure of seeing Haseo b**** slapped, the scene where Yowkow beats Haseo would be sweet for me.

Yowkow's cameo appearance is an OBVIOUS fanservice. The fact that she has screentime and more important characters didn't isn't' more obvious? Yowkow fans shouldn't be crying, they should be cheering.

WTF has that got to do with anything? The Yowkow fanbase was at its peak between the Japanese release of Vol.2 and the release of Vol.3. They were really loud then, but most of them have matured to the point that they don't need to scream it out loud anymore.

One thing that doesn't add up to me though is that the Bst form is weaker than Xth. Considering how awesome the power shown in the trailer it doesn't quite add up.
I also don't like how they left out many important characters like Endrance and SakuBo.

Anyway, I won't bother with the rest of the "Sakubo and Endrance aren't even in it while Alkaid is and she's not even majorly important to the story" arguments I'm bursting to say, because I don't think I'd be saying anything new. XD

But...

Not wimps, annoying. Fandom is a horrible thing, and Alkaid fans usually represent that.

Thank you Kiru, I now have to clean my screen since the Mt. Dew that I HAD been drinking is now all over the computer lol. All in all, I still wanna see the movie just because CG eye candy is always sweet to see. It does bum me out a little that the movie is waaaayyy too short and doesn't have as much depth as it should.

EDIT:Looks like some kind of reservation campaign, but that's as much as I could figure out with google translator.

I could do it...I really could. The dialog in the movie isn't all that complex. Problem is, having met Matsuyama in person and knowing the fansubs would no doubt be sold illegally later on I don't think I can bring myself to do it

I understand completely. I'd, of course, put the "This DVD is not for sale or rent" and "Buy it when it's released in your country" tickers on the movie. And there is absolutely no chance of it being sold illegally. I have the only High Quality Subtitled version, and I'm not selling. The only reason I'm subbing it is because most people (myself included) can't understand japanese, but want to enjoy this without having to wait a few months, or a year, for a dubbed release. When said dubbed release comes out, I'll take down my subbed versions of course

That said, the offer still stands. I'll completely understand if you don't want to help though ^^

But! I bet someone else will sub it when the DVD becomes available here in Japan.
