Hm, let's see...

I have Alloy with two Null effects on them (so, damage -50?)
Broad Wings +5 with Critical +10% and Backstab
Ripper's Blades
And all the watches (Brave, Medic, Wizard, Search, Train, Greedy, etc.) with +20%

I also have the Black Armor that you get from the Abyss Quest.

Does that sound good?

I don't think modifiers add up together.

the black armor sucks for normal battles due to the permanent curse type effect of constantly draining SP and its only usefull for the arena.

If this is anything like the previous series your equipment will become obsolete almost as soon as you start.

They'll make good trade items/money makers. ^_^ In fact, wouldn't they be more useless, since skills aren't attached to equipment like in the first games?

Pretty much. In fact theirs new equipment at lvl 51 so you'll probably need the old stuff for one battle and thats it. Vol.3 is a different story since the doppelganger stuff and lost weapons are on par with most of the early equipment. But you'll probably never need Vol.1 stuff again.

Hmm. I forgot I'm trying to transfer a save data that doesn't have me at Lvl 50. I guess I'll have a little mess around time in the beginning of the game. Well, I hope I do...

That is one thing I miss from the old games. Well, it was more like the elemental attack skills... I know you can customize and all, but it's not exactly the same.

Okay, then how about Physical -25 with Physical -10%?
Does that work?

Also, one more question: What's the difference between nullify damage and decrease damage?
In Rebirth, the Iron Shell and Crest mods null damage less than 25, and in Reminisce, the Copper Turtle Shell and Crest mods decrease damage less than 25. What's the difference and can you stack and Iron Shell and a Copper Turtle Shell on top of each other on the same armor? That may have been two questions.

you fight dopplegangger the same way in all 3 volumes.

Go to any field type area reguardless of its lv and do nothing on the controller for 10 minutes.

However at the end of Vol. 2 Haseo gets a email with a few keywords in it 1 of which makes the dopplganger automatically appear in the field without waiting.

Lastly for the doppleganger twin blade weapon you must kill it in Vol. 2 but the Own King item from Vol. 1 is required to get it but own king can only be gotten in Vol. 1.

That works. It's just that two identical modifiers don't add up.

About the different item thing, I'm not very sure.

Wow, I didn't know that last bit. It sounds neat at first, but I'd rather do the ten-minute method so I could build a Beast Awakening to use against Dopple.

Hm, thanks. I'll keep that in mind and go take the extra accessory mods off my Watches.

But maxing out the meter for a beast awakening doesn't take 10 minutes to do.

Instead I'd rather max out the meter then fight doppleganger without waiting at alll.

Doesn't the meter reset when you enter an area?

Hm, so I guess you plan on avoiding Dopple in that area while you try to max out your Morale Gauge? I suppose if he catches you before you're ready you could use a Smoke Screen.
