hey guys, it has been a while since i posted a topic, well when u see an easy question i would rush to answer it, but when i see it over and over and over it gets kinda boring hehe, anyways iam gonna try and set up this post to provide you people with the links that you will most likely use and find helpfull, here goes..

First link, the famous Zer0's guide/faq :
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic. ... 252#144252

this faq is very usefull it lists the following, (suming it up):
1. Introduction/FAQ
2. Item/Accessory Guide
3. Ryu Books
4. Bounty Hunter Guide
5. (Un)Lucky Animals
6. Mecha Grunty
7. Chim Chim Guide
8. Weapons/Armor Guide
9. Monster Guide
10. People Hunt Guide
11. AIDA/Avatar Battle FAQ
12. Conversion
13. Doppleganger
14. Abyss Quest

i highly recommend this, moving on.

Second intresting link, the famous Mystere Man's post:
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7744

that provides you with the location of all missing keywords, on to the next link.. hehe.

Third link, hitokiri2006's post:
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic. ... light=area

that will provide you with a tip for leveling up your weapon skills.

Fourth link, my post:
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic. ... ht=#180496

it will provide you with information regarding the bonus stuff that you can do after you kill the last boss, if you are bored that is hehe.

Fifth link,
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8779

there is a post by "TheSorrow" more like a guide that i thought would be usefull, quoting.
TheSorrow wrote:To alchemize, just bring 2 weapons of the same exact name (for example, Broad Wings and Broad Wings, NOT Broad Wings and Broad Zhen), and he'll mix them to you, adding a +1 to the name. The alchemizing's effect is to give a small attack boost to the weapon (ATK multiplied in .25, .50, .75, 1, 1.25).
So, lets say you wanna have a Spin Piney at max. customization (+5), and you somehow have all the Spin Pineys needed already. So, you talk to him, select the weapons, and it goes like this
Spin Piney + Spin Piney = Spin Piney+1 (x.25)
Spin Piney+1 + Spin Piney = Spin Piney+2 (x .50)
Spin Piney+2 + Spin Piney = Spin Piney+3 (x .75)
Spin Piney+3 + Spin Piney = Spin Piney+4 (x 1)
Spin Piney+4 + Spin Piney = Spin Piney+5 (x 1.25)
That is all...
And, once you have a weapon at +5, you can use it to alchemize any other weapon of the same kind (in this case, Dual Swords), but only counts as 1.
So, you can use it for a Spin Needle like this
Spin Piney+5 + Spin Needle = Spin Needle +1.
Sixth link,
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9024

this topic talks about the best weapon for haseo for vol 1, suming up the best answer from "TheSorrow".
TheSorrow wrote:Dual Swords:
Spin Needle + 5/Hold + Release
Ripper's Blade/Rapid attacks
(people say Spin Axe + 5 is better than Ripper's Blade...they're equal for me)

Broadsword:
Broad Legged + 5/Rapid Attacks
Broad Wings + 5/Hold + Release
The last but not least,
http://dothackers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9055

this topic talks about haseo's best armor, suming it up from what i read,

best 2 armors are rough alloy and the black armor, both are the best but depending on the situation one of them stands out.

well that's all folks, i wrote this topic with the aim of getting it stickied lol we will see what will happens, ooh and by the way, if i missed anything or you want to provide with more usefull links, just post it here, hope this was usefull :)

Nice topic, but if its sticked it should have a more attracting title, that way its seen by people before they post asking something from this.
...
Well, they'll end up making the topic themselves >.> (is natural here to post before reading), but we could just redirect them to this topic and it becomes an easy answer.

I can't think on anything else to be added.

I dunno I prefer "READ BEFORE POSTING OR DIE". It's short and it gets to the point.

This is truly a very helpful thread, why it isn´t sticky if it was created 10 hours ago?
And what about .hack//wiki? it´s also very helpful for information about the story of all the .hack series.

People can get .hack//wiki info on their own, and plus it has spoilers, and some people want to stay spoiler-free. This thread just directs you to basic Vol 1 questions, for those newcomers who don't use the search function.

Seriously doubting if they haven't read the: GENERAL HELP! QUESTIONS POST HERE, The Terminal Disc Thread, The "I beat Volume 1!" Thread., and the announce thread:USE   text TAGS; KEEP THREAD NAME SP FREE; that this thread like the others will be ignored.

Not to mention your not the first to make this kind of thread, it too will most likely be locked for the very same reasons, thread fills with spam and speculation, or in this case the links will goto spam and speculation.

"How to find copies of Spin Gai Gu and Broad Legged":

I hope that helps. Also, you get one copy of Broad Legged when you finish your Job Extension quest for the Edge Punisher form (2nd form).

EDIT: Fixed Link...

I am debating writing a walkthrough in between projects for class, I am no expert so it will probably not be too good, but, it might help as that is the one thing the faq needs :P but, I'd have to write it without doing sidequests along the way so I can seperate main game levels from sidequest ones :P

"How to find the 'Spin Locust' weapon"

"I had this exact problem recently. I thought you get it automatically in Antares Quest/Job Extension Quest. I always got it in one of those. But, recently I couldn't find it. And the Spin Locust is one of my favorites, so I searched. I found it in a Trap Box in: ^ Lazy Forbidden Scud. The area is a cave type, Lvl 23, elements are Water and Wind. Oh yeah, the Item Lvl is 24.
Hope that helps, it's a really cool weapon."

Got it? That's ^Lazy Forbidden Scud. I think you get those keywords from the story, so everybody should have them eventually.
