its an american version of volume one. i'm trying to get it to work on my PAL ps2 using swap magic but the site that i bought it from didn't mention that you needed a special add on for it to work. plus the add on has been delayed due to posting errors.
some times it feels like fate wants me to wait till christmas to play it.

Have you tried Importing the game? Since PAL PS2s work for anything that doesn't relate to the US, you could get the Japanese Version of the game off of E-Bay, and then play it on your PAL PS2.

Deal with it. Get a CodeBreaker and start hacking the game. That's what I've been doing. Besides, there is a LOT of things to do in the game, even if you did beat it.

Okay, this may be a noob question, but my comp has been down for ages, so I'm not up to date with any information whatsoever. This is the topic I could find that fits this question the most. So here it is:
Why are there so few copies of G.U. Vol 1 Rebirth? Every store I've seen doesn't have them anymore. I asked a guy and he said something about each store only getting one or two shipments. So what happened? Where are they?

I finaly got my import of the limited edition version on friday!
I've given up on the chances of it coming out here in the UK so when it came i was so chuffed!
I was so happy I was finally able to play .hack//G.U. I didn't mind the ridiculous £15 Customs Charge to collect the game on top of the £50 I bidded for it!
That god for slide cards!

Yeah. It's not really an avatar, you see. Just fragmented data pulled together, like said above.
