Suspicion on the Release Date

Sorry if this is a repeated post...

Hey, you know if you go to the english .hack site, http://www.dothack.com, you see the time that that site would look like the way it is, from May 18, 2005-May 27, 2006. Do you think that May 2006 could be the first game's release date?

I'm just going by a wild guess. Even I think that wouldn't really be a reasonable hint, much likely a guess...

It states 2005 not 2006. That's how long the site was suppose to be up "teaser site", but the American .hack site is horrible at keeping stuff up to date and correct.

Ebgames has relesed a date dont know if its right or not but here it is they say the ship date is 11/14/2005

The EBgames date is there just so they can have something in print. They most likely made it up out of thin air. An official date has yet to be annouced by CC2 and/or Bandai.

you choud be right maromi but ebgames has done this many many times before and about 90% of the time there right on the money 5% of the time was because the game was delayed and the other 5% was because they were just off but i guess we need to wait and see on this

keep in mind, that .hack//G.U is slated for a 2006 release in Japan... the release date written on EB's site doesnt make sense then..

what do EB plan on doing? steal the game before its finished and ship it out to everone?

and make sure you read what the page has said
The ship date and retail price have not been confirmed and therefore are subject to change.

Like I said, that date means nothing whatsoever, nor does the price. EBgames and other game retailers will do this a lot just to have something tangible. We're more likely to see //G.U. on November 14, 2006 than 2005.
