Re: freeze at job extension quest
Three possible reasons
1.) Your disc is dirty. Clean it
2.) Your disc is scratched. Buy another copy, or use
a scratch removal material.
3.)Your disc is defected. Buy another copy.
Unless you used codes that fail in Rebirth, this is just about it.

Like character mod codes you can use if you have a codebreaker or action replay. Some mods cause the game to freeze.

Re: freeze at job extension quest
I don't think so, but if you've used them before getting the freezing problem, it could be.
Re: freeze at job extension quest
o alright then, ill just play through it again to see if itll freeze there. Thanks
Re: freeze at job extension quest
o but i do have one more question, will a code like Max HP and Max SP affect the freezing? it changes my HP and SP to 9999, i remembered using those two codes. thanks again xD

Re: freeze at job extension quest
How about you tell us every code you used instead of us trying to guess what you did?
Re: freeze at job extension quest
sry bout that, i used a codebreaker and the codes i used was infinite money and chims, and max hp and max sp. thats all. im also guessing that the max HP and max SP has something to do with that part freezing. there was this other guy i found on a different forum that had the same problem as i did. ill post the link to the forum, just search for his name which is kageknight.

Re: freeze at job extension quest
Yeah, the HP/SP code probably did it...dunno why exactly, since there's no reason for that quest or the following stuff to read Haseo's HP/SP and have any problem like reading a value wrong or expecting for something that won't happen...but well, seems like this happen like that.
If you still can use the codes, try modifying Haseo's HP/SP to lower numbers and see what happens (turning off the codes wouldn't work just like with the guy, since Haseo's stats are saved as you save the game).

Re: freeze at job extension quest
Except for the fact that you used a font color that makes me more blind than i am, i agree with you...the game's so darn easy that you don't need cheat codes; if anything, you would need them to make the game HARDER, or somehow more entertaining XDmisael wrote:what's the point on cheating? you dont even enjoy the game, its already very easy >_>
But, the main purpose of cheat codes, at least for me, is to find hidden areas, see unusued items and skills, or see how much you can modify the game and make it harder, more entertaining, and just different and do things you couldn't do otherwise :P Here's a good example.

Sorry about the font color :$
